@Phreakazoid , is there some way to get the Mad Catz scratch logo on the back of the stick to light up on the non-XB1 side? Thanks.
mine lights up
Hello! After making the installation before placing the Ps360+. I did a test on the PC and is recognizing usual but the buttons RT and LT are not working … Is there anything I have done wrong?
If it’s on the xb1 side that is normal. You will have to force ps360 mode by holding down whatever button you have set to switch. This is assuming you didn’t short the invert jumper
Yep, that’s right
my ps360+ seems to only boot up correctly if I use the back USB ports of my 360? Is that normal?
Try another controller on your front USB ports. It could be your front side usb ports are damaged.
Thanks for the reply … But do you mean that’s normal? On the Xone Mode i will not have the LT and RT working? Only the PS3360+ mode? This means that the procedure kills these two buttons for Xone mode?

No, on PC these 2 buttons don’t work regardless of what you’ve modded it with. PC will not recognize the triggers on a stock XB1 TE2. Use the PS360 side.

Its a issue with the Microsoft driver for the Xbox One controllers. The drivers are only intended for Microsoft’s own game pads and none of the arcade sticks (or any 3rd party XBone controller).
On the MS XBone game pad the Triggers are analog so the PC expects them to be analog not digital.
There no fix for this, Microsoft is not going to change it, as quite frankly they don’t care if you could use a Xbox One arcade stick or not on the PC.
The Stick Manufacturers? They are just tell you what I did, its a Microsoft issue and its not their concern. That their controllers are only designed for the system they are intended for (in this case the Xbone) and that system only.

Thanks guys! Got what you want to say … I took the test on XOne and is all OK with the LT and RT…

Thanks for the reply. Yeah my round 1 TE works fine when plugged into the front USB ports. Maybe the back ports offer more power?
So no one else has this issue? Maybe I did a bad soldering job? However I’ve been playing fine and have had no issues with inputs or anything.
Shorten the USB cable

Not true. Tested the Hori pads without issue on the PC yesterday. Both triggers work, and from what I can tell, they’re digital.

Are you sure they are actually Digital, and not the kind of analog Sony tries to pass of as analog on their L2 and RL buttons of their controllers?
If you are saying is right then MS is just being a dick to everyone with their terrible drivers.

Shorten the USB cable
Hmmmm, I’m using the official procable that comes with the te2.
I’m a little hesitant to try to shorten it because if I mess it up, I don’t think I can easily replace it.
Thanks for the tip though!
Sorry I thought you were talking about your original TE. You could also try shortening the data cables from your crossbone to your PS360+

Yes, a Hori Xbox One controller on the PC.
No hex inverting needed so I’m giving it a very HARD… maybe? It could be similar to the way sony does their triggers though.
The only other controller I can think of that would have digital inputs for triggers is the MKX pad, so it would be nice to have that tested out. If they are Both digital, and they BOTH work, then the TE2 blame lays on mad catz, not MS, because the LT and RT for it won’t work for non-fighting games on the xbox one either.

Unless Mad Catz is following MS policy.

getting off topic but this is from the MKX pad thread:

Lemony_Vengeance:
any word on if the triggers work for this pad on the PC? I know the TE2 and digital inputs and all, but I’d like a test on this.
They work just fine man.
I clarified my question, making sure that they’re talking about the Xbox one/360 pad in xbox one mode.
