TE2 Crossbone - Electrical mods made significantly easier for the Madcatz TE2

Sounds like your gnd and vcc are bridged

Not good

Only 19/20 and 17/18 should have continuity

Ill double check shortly, thanks Vicko

Hi does anyone know the pinout for the 20pin connector on the TE2 crossbone? was gonna use it dual mod with Brooks PCB.

same as the ps360+

Thanks @Vicko

I currently have the the TE2 with crossbone wired to a ps360+ with 20 pin connector. How would I add a Brook board into this mix. What’s the cleanest way? Also will I need another board like an imp introduced somewhere in this mix to switch to the brook board?

been answered many times before
impv2 or dpdt switch
place between either the outgoing from the crossbone or the sys2

There is not enough anger young Padawan.

No anger here

For the buttons on the Brook board, I can just wire those to the Ps360+ screw terminal, correct?

yes

One last question. I’m currently running rj45 from the ps360+. How would I wire rj45 use for the Brook board and ps360+ to the imp. I’m particularly confused about rj45 vcol.

vcc is vcc
just run it from anywhere

Thanks. I’m going with the basic setup and the pdf for the imp says not connected for that point. That’s why I was confused.

that’s assuming you’re using USB, not ethernet. You’ll need to connect it for sure for ethernet.

My Xbox One support no longer works. I still use the two cable setup. When plugging in the Xbox one cable, I get a quick flash of the red lights on the panel, and the light on the ps360+. When I plug in my rj45 for the ps360+, everything works fine. I checked for continuity on d+ and d- from the TE2 to crossbone and I have continuity. Any idea what the problem could be?

TE2 PCB died probably. Happened many times, not sure why. @Phreakazoid ?

Also, why are you using a 2 cable setup? Why not just use the single cable setup with the crossbone?

Just never got around to changing over. Figured I had a wiring issue whe Xbox one side stopped working, so I was gonna fix that and switch it to one cable while I was in there. Guess that’s a mute point now.

got around? Why didn’t you install it like that from the get go? You went the hard route lol

anyway, what if you wire a different usb cable directly to the crossbone or the TE2 pcb
