TE Fightstick Button Issues?

3 Months into grounding the plates and my stick has literally just had this issue again for the first time. Havent had time to open it up again, but i have a feeling the wire that was connected to the bottom plate may have come loose.

If not, then this makes me a very sadpanda. But all in all, i would attempt this fix, since for the most part, it either works, or if it doesnt work, it significantly reduces the frequency of the issue.

Yeah, happened to me once and only once since the grounding. I wouldn’t worry about it

This has happened to me a couple of times. I figured i would mention tho, it only seems to happen when i get a wild hair up my ass and decide to have my xbox on its side. Whenever i have it standing it doesnt happen at all. I usually will just randomly want to run my 360 on its side, get the problem shortly after, and go right back to running it vert. Maybe coincidence, but i figured i would mention it.

Edit: Actually last night i was able to recreate it while the 360 was vert for the first time, so i guess that rules that out.

i’ve encased the pcb in hot glue.
?_?

I read through the majority of this thread. I am considering purchasing a MC TE fight stick for my PS3. Is it a wise investment? Is this mostly a 360 issue? What Ive read seems to say its a 360 issue? Just need to decide if I should purchase a stick or not.?

Does any other major arcade stick have the bottom plate (if metal) grounded?

Why is it a SE/TE specific issue (if at all?)

Damn it, just had this happen twice with my RT tonight >.<

so i had madcatz send me a replacement femme fatale PCB.
it still drops RH even after i did both joystick grounds and RH ground to bottom plate.

going to call again and see if i can get a newer PCB because my chun li stick has yet to do this.
