Tatsunoko seahorse for final boss plz.
That would certainly be fun.

Jun the Swan and Ken the Eagle have already broken the 1 character per series rule.
Same with Yatterman and Doranjo.
Chun Li and Ryu…
what one character per series rule?
as for final bosses, I’d laugh if it was Eko from the Karas anime. All metal tentacles intact and complete with time freezing ability. He could be just a model swap of Karas, but with highly boosted stats and tentacles that randomly attack from the ground.
You are right about Jun and Ken.
Ryu is ‘from SF1’ and Chun ‘from SF2’. Yatterman from Yatterman and Doronjo is listed as being from some spinoff.
It really depends on how you look at it.
Technically, Ryu, Chun-li and Alex represent SF, SF2 and SF3, respectively. Rock Volnutt represents Rockman DASH specifically, and Roll represents the original Rockman series.
Similarly, Ken the Eagle reps the original Gatchaman and Jun the “sequel”, Gatchman 2/F (where she really started fighting in the way that she does in game). Furthermore, while Yatterman, Doronjo and Ippatsuman all represent “Time Bokan”, they each represent different parts/aspects of that series.
So, in a way, it still does works out to be “one character that represents one series/aspect”. If you prefer to look at it through the spectrum of technicalities.
I still believe that SUPERBOOK JESUS is gonna be THE true final boss of this game!
^ of course he will
When was there ever one? I never remember Capcom stating such a limitation.
^It is implied.
But still, I like that rule.
I mean, sure, Jun and Doronjo sorta broke the rule, but then again a) Jun did start most of her attacks found in the game in Gatchaman 2 and b) Doronjo got her own “side” games.
Lacking a fireball in a versus game doesn’t make much of a difference, really. There’s no actual spacing involved in these games. Just look at Wolverine in MvSF. He lacked a fireball and still raped the cast free.
DeathScythe:
Of course there’s spacing in these games. It’s just that some characters have sufficient tools to get around characters who have it. MSF Omega Red, Blackheart and Dhalsim are no slouches in the spacing department (those also happen to be the best characters no named Wolverine).
Merely having a fireball in the Vs. games usually isn’t enough though - you usually need more stuff to keep people at bay properly.
On a related note, tomorrow has Lightan vs. Chun-Li + Morrigan.
Cool. I wanted to see more Morrigan game play.
makes sense
i still want a samurai pizza cat.
Alex could Hyper Bomb it, and then it wouldn’t be so freaky.
I’m always pleased to see more Lightan footage and I guess Morrigan as well. I guess the Darkstalkers fans enjoy having a “real” new model of Morrigan, even if it is 3D. heheh
I finally ordered mines earlier today at around 4. : )
I got the UPS 2 day air thingy. So I think I’ll get it 2 days after it’s shipped.
SOUTH TEXAS WARM UP TOURNEY UPON RECIEVING!! What’s poppin?!
UPS? You might get it almost, if not, the same time as the Japanese get their copy (because of the time difference). Usually happens to me when I add another $20 to my shipping. I didn’t do that with HNK, and it drove me nuts. Took one week to come in.:shake:
That’s why, if you can, it really does “pay” to just go for that more expensive shipping, so you can make sure you get your goods.
ESPECIALLY now, with the Holidays approaching (and the craziness that happens with mail around that time). If you don’t want your stuff to get lost in the mail, the best means to combat that would be pay for shipping that is insured and has tracking information.
I’d hate to hear some horror stories about people not getting their game until well into the new year…
Seriously? I hope so.:lovin:
