On a related note - why did Lightan trip at the Variable Combination?
It looks like with enough force, you CAN actually knock him down or send him into hitstun. We will need much science on this topic.
he most likely falls when hit by a super, so when u have enough meter through out a super and pow he trips on his back. That’s what i’m guessing.
Gold Lightan in Baroque mode is not to be fucked with.
Yeah, no shit! He can deflect projectiles, has like… GIGA Armor that puts Sentinel’s Super Armor to shame, and I dunno how he managed to off Morrigan so easily near the end of the vid with one hit.
I expect him to be top-tier/uber level.
Indeed. He took mad life and told both of them to sit the fuck down. :shake:
He took out 40% of Morrigans life with 3 attacks. :looney: His only weakness is that he is alone, but since he is alone he can use baroque when ever he gets hit without thinking about regaining life.
In older videos (check around the 5th test or there-abouts), both Lightarn and the PTX/IVAN had trouble when it came to being hit too hard/too many times (ideally, by a super).
For instance, there was an old video that had the PTX eating Rock’s Machine Gun super, and eventually, he/it fell flat on his back too.

It does definitely seem to be a thing that enough hits registered is enough to cause the giants to stumble. Then there’s guys like Alex, who can actually GRAB them (Alex did his Level 3 on an IVAN in another older vid).
So, it looks like the giants have their own thing about them.
