damn man we think alike. i decided to pick him up today as well. he has so many setups into the super hyper bomb it’s ridiculous.
what’s so great about his snapback though besides snapping back a character that’s low on health? can u infinite launch the assist character like in mvc2? guard breaks?
As of right now, to my knowledge, the overall rumor about there being supposedly “Time-released” characters (or some other means of unlocking others beyond what we know thus far) has yet to be proven or busted.
The one thing that could stand to prove/disprove everything? The Strategy guide for the game that is scheduled to hit the streets on Christmas.
One could only wonder why they delayed the guide 2 weeks after the game’s release, but maybe the Mook would contain some type of spoilers, people suggest…
No, me and my friend tested it out. You cannoy launch assist when they are out because they are invincible once your character dies or isn’t on the screen due to a snapback. And you cannot guard break characters because they are invincible on the way out.
yeah i just did some testing… it’s very hard to land too. either way alex is so much fun. been using Jun’s assist to extend my combos pretty nicely. i love how u can combo into every one of his supers.
I dunno about the stick, but I agree with the other guy in principle. Performance is all that matters. If you want to check how a BMW drives, you’ll drive it. For the ending user it doesn’t matter how the valves work. What matters is the feeling you have when you’re in control of the car. Same thing happens with sticks.
Other criteria are important when you think about saving money or work, but performance is performance. It doesn’t matter how you get there. Everything IMO of course
Well guys, after clocking in 17 and a half hours, I just got 100% Complete in this game. Unless this game can go up to 120% or something, I think that’s it. No more characters, and oddly enough… no 3P colors for the Tatsunoko side!
I guess things will be clarified once and for all by X-Mas when that guide comes out. Perhaps there is more stuff but you have to do some good old fashioned moving-the-cursor-all-over-the-character-select types of tricks! Ah well, see you then! Enjoy the game~
EDIT - I guess I’ll sprinkle a little hope on this. Did anyone else notice that in every section in Gallery mode there are set places for each item so you know exactly how many things will appear except for the Character section? HMMMM…
Does anyone here know the fastest way to acquire points for the shop. It seems that it doesn’t make a bit of difference guys (the balls are inert) whether you play the game on the lowest difficulty or the highest difficulty. No matter what you’ll only get 800 points for clearing Arcade mode. If you play with continues then it becomes time based and after a certain amount of minutes playing the game you’ll get an extra 100 and so on. So yeah, I just went ahead and set the game at maximum damage scaling and the lowest difficulty to keep clearing it fast but does anyone else here have any pointers on how to get more faster?
This game look like crack. I just got my copy now i just need to mod my wii. Can i get a link to the wii homebrew section? or just pm me on how to get gecko OS up and running. Thx in advance.
Also unless you have that cord that stops lag on hdtv’s it’s possible that the game will lag. My friend brought his tv a few months ago and we tried playing tvc on it. It lagged a lot… Luckily he has the cords to fix it.
