You’re just dumb. Having the game has nothing to do with the stick. I don’t need Tekken 5 to judge the tekken 5 stick. And all he said is that he’s only heard bad things. I don’t understand why you’re so butthurt over that. Sure, you have the stick, that’s fine, and if it works for you than whatever. Obviously other people haven’t felt the same way.
Personally I don’t see a reason to buy it, when I can just buy a converter for $15-$20 and use my usual stick.
Is it possible to force the weapons you get for PTX? I originally thought a = gatling, b = shotgun, c = missile, but that apparently wasn’t the case.
I never said the game was garbage, not once. I’ve actually been running around SRK and talking to friends on messnegers constantly about TvC and how much I want to play the game cause what little I got to play it at Evo I knew it was going to be a fucking amazing game. Not to mention, if I didn’t like the game I wouldn’t be posting on how/where and how to get it/play it and ask about strategies now would I?
Also, the opinions I have on the stick are from people who are credible i.e. stick builders and people with knowledge in arcade parts who have tested the stick and the parts for themselves and they have told me nothing but bad about the sticks, so I’m not getting one.
And I know exar only made 2 sticks. a tvc artwork one and a generic one. I fucking said that. Thanks for reading my post.

So with Karas, is there a decent ender to his air combo? So far I’ve been doing ground chains, baroquing at fierce, chaining to <–, --> to launcher, and doing AC to tag and finishing with alex’s air hyperbomb but there have to be better options.
To me when someone says a stick or pad is bad I’m concluding that it is unplayable. I.E. dragon punches,Charges,fireball and 360 motions are hard to perform.
Or that the buttons will stick ,or once again unresponsive.
The Exar sticks are extremely playable IMHO as far as the TVC game goes. I have not tested it on any other fighter probly cause I don’t care.
Are they made of parts that the 150 joysticks use? no way. Will they last as long as the customs? I would say no.
Stick builders are looking for everything to be quality from the ingame stuff to how the stick is made,So imho it’s hard for me to judge there opinions unless they give detailed reviews.
Personally for the price point,and if it was decision between this or the wii Hori. Exar by a long shot.
If you have a custom stick already then it doesn’t matter cause you can easly get the adapter. Unless weight is a concern,then the Exar will win out for longtime gaming session with it on your lap.
I wish mark would post his review. I know hes going to rip apart the hardware on it,but I’m interested to see what he thinks about how well it plays in the TVC game.

Not that I want to get into all this, but MarkMan got the Exar TvC stick and said that it feels very cheap/plastic. On another forum he mentioned that the stick is actually worse than the Hori Wii Fighting Stick. He recently put together a list of the best joysticks (ranking them) on SDTekken and the Exar Stick ranks near the bottom.

All I know is from experience we had a Hori wii stick here last night and two Exar sticks.
Although the Hori wii stick is better made,we couldn’t do half of the combos on the Hori vs the TVC stick.
Everyone that was at my place last night agreed the Exar stick was the better playing stick. The combos,and special moves all flowed better. These are fairly good marvel players in the south.
I personally own a Hori 360 stick,and it isn’t even close to being as responsive as the exar stick. Granted theres no way to test the 360 stick on TVC.

Yeah, him or the genie will be tops I have a feeling. Snap backs are too good with some of the mechanics in this game.
You know, I’m really glad Mega Crush is there. At first I wasn’t sure how it would fit and had at least some hope that they knew where their combo system would lead. But after seeing it turn out like every other “Marvel” game, it’s interesting to think just how effective it will be. Especially since it can be used during a combo which even gives you Barouque, quite impressive what they’ve done with it…
