Upshot –
What’s the point of replacing anything on this stick if it’s THAT close to the Sanwa spec?
I’m amazed by how well the JLF was cloned!
I take it back… this IS not your father’s SE!

The TvC SE is nice, but the buttons are just not…Sanwa. They just feel SOOO much better imo

dope ass break down Robo!! good shiet!! again… I love this stick very much that I had to get two, now I didnt like the button feel and was happy to know i could just switch out the ms instead of putting some sanwa buttons in there. Also the JLF clone… too awesome… will not have to switch that piece out for nothing. Now… If Markman and MadCatz could team with toodles … and make a Optical Clone … well you know … hint hint ?? … lol
Capcom has gone on record saying since a stick is out now and people invested in it, we can expect more games. Street Fighter 2 collection would be amazing
Source? Because if this is true, then I’ve got more reasons to start playing on my Wii again (and to pick up the stick).
I just got the TVC Stick and when i plug it in to my wiimote the wiimote turns off and the console does not read the stick. However the lights near the turbo buttons light up when i press button to signify that it is registering. Does anybody else have this problem?
Make sure nothing is plugged into the GameCube port 1.
My GC ports are clear. Is there anything else i can try?
There isn’t one, really. At this point, Sanwa is just a name unless you really, really hate the extra bit of stiffness. And, even then, it’s just a spring.
that is an amazing post RoboKrikit. It would be even better to include pics of the SFIV SE stick in there as well, just for comparison’s sake.
This is great information! You pretty much saved me 24 bucks since all I have to do is buy is the spring. Wish I could find a place to buy only the Sanwa microswitch for the buttons.
Good shit RoboKrikit!
mahzilla, you can buy from AkihabaraShop.jp site.
Where did you find it?
I couldn’t find the microswitch for the buttons on their site, just switches for the joystick.
Go to the Buttons.
Second Menu, choose SW-68.
I looked through at the buttons page as well as its sub-pages and still could not find it. They really need to allow their customers to link directly to a product.
Hello mahzilla.
