I really want to say that “5” is the number Capcom will go with as far as new characters go; 3 for Tatsunoko, 2 for Capcom (Capcom would still have one more character that Tatsunoko if you count Yami in the mix ;P). Don’t quote on this though ;P.
I don’t really care who which new characters end up in the final version of the game as long as they bring in a bunch of new players into the game that don’t drop TvC without giving it a chance. All it takes is patience and understanding, really.
Agreed. I’m definitely willing to be paitent. I can handle the suspense when the new characters are finally revealed.

Just getting this out there - an interview with Nitsuma in an UK magazine disconfirms Phoenix Wright (although he was at least considered, and Nitsuma might like to work on him for a sequel).
They say Phoenix was planned but was removed due to the kanji difference, but Franziska still has a chance.
