Daimo will not be missed because better will replace him!! Woohoo.
the biggest difference between Roll and Daimou is about 5 tiers worth of cool factor. It doesn’t matter if they’re both humor characters. Daimou is a blight to the roster because he utterly lacks cool in just about all areas and I’m not the only one who thinks this. Roll on the other hand has style.
I can testify with no personal bias at all that Roll is better than that dumb genie any day. He’s sloppy and awkward and nobody in the US has any damn clue where he came from anyway. He’s got nothing going for him. Except an air grab, which they can just give to whoever he replaces and then we’ll be good.
I’m glad they fixed the glitch the way I was hoping they would. It’s far better to have another character fill his slot, hopefully a good character. I don’t feel bad at all for outing the infinite and I only hope it had some small influence in the decision to boot him. My main fighting partner was crushed, but we can always play the Japanese version if he needs to get Rolled over for a whole round.

Isn’t that shallow, to support removing content just because it’s not cool? Roll doesn’t have any more style than Daimaoh anyway; they’re both cartoony and ridiculous (and this is coming from someone who likes Roll much, much more than Daimaoh).

I did get a little taste of new TvC character just recently and he/she/it (seekrits!) looked GREAT. Like… maybe my new favorite.
PS- I think if you were to shave the beard, that would technically constitute a biohazard, so make sure you bring your beard-shavings containment gear, lest you risk getting everything all grody.

My friends and I were all familiar with most of the cast - not all, but most. But Daimaou was pretty obscure, and when I went to watch the anime to see where he came from, it was so bad…
He just felt like a very clumsy character.
I’m excited to find out who the new guys/gals/its are. I wish they’d quit dragging it out and spill it already.

edit n/m the beard thing was responding to some other dumbass comment. Still RE tho which is sweet. Honestly I’d much rather have that than DMC, although that would be sweet too. We just need another zombie summoner among us.

Yeah, Barry from RE1 was what I was thinking too thanks to that beard hint. He wouldn’t be out place since the Capcom side has plenty of out-of-left-field characters already.

btw, there’s 2 Time Bokan. The one in the link i posted is episode 1 of the old version. in your link, it’s part of episode 2 of the old version. I watched them both liek an hour ago, so yeah. I also saw episode one of a newer version in which the story revolved around gan-chan (yatterman), his gf ai-chan, and their mecha dog (yatterwun) vs. doronbo (doronjo and her 2 accomplices). out of all of em, old episode 2 was my fav., for it seeming to have the highest level of absurdity.
Well if ‘biohazard’ is a hint at all, we can expect a RE character for sure. It’ll either be Chris or Leon, but I don’t think we can expect any zombies (because all recent RE games feature parasites)
If Chris is in though, his level 3 had better involve him beating up a boulder and then rolling it onto the opponent.

I think there’s a chance it could be a Tyrant. After all, Tyrant was on the list of possible TvC characters that were intended.
