Well it depends on the cost, afaik all the Capcom characters so far are fully owned. Any other company with rights will charge whatever they feel appropriate. Marvel, for instance, would probably charge way too much.
I think the “Igari” issue could’ve easily been resolved–unless aesthetically they couldn’t resize “Objection” or “Object”. Sounds so weird that Capcom wasn’t able to be creative enough to make up moves for him. The cases have enough things they could stretch into moves. Objection, Hold It!, Take That!–there are other things that could’ve been made into special moves with him or moves that involve Penny and Maya Fey. I could see them doing something like a “Cross Examination” move where the opponent needs to either him him first or, possibly put in a sequence of commands to pass through it with them either looking guilty if they fail and getting hit by their “guilty” or if they’re not guilty–Phoenix losing more 10% of his lifebar as he shakes his head. Since TVC uses 3-D models there are certain things that they can “exaggerate” since alot of the supers in TVC are unreasonably dramatic.
Franziska von Karma needs to be in TVC at the least.
I don’t even like TVC from a competitive standpoint but it would be nice to see different characters in the game that could possibly draw more interest.
Edit: What they can do though is if Franziska makes it in the game instead–she could have moves where Phoenix is a reluctant assist like character, that would be hilarious.
Capcom would have to pay Shueisha/Shonen Jump to use the Jojo characters, and I seriously, seriously doubt the characters from one of the most popular manga ever are cheap.
They shouldn’t even be having a problem at all =/
Now that I think about it, I think the issue has more to do with the 3-D models they had planned for it, which no one has seen. There may have been an issue with the text looking garbled up or intangible. Who knows–I still think it could be worked around.
The reason for them taking out objection is silly. They could have just made it into a stream projectile, with the “ION” being the part that hits, and all the other text behind it being just fluff.
or even put the damned hitbox right in the middle so that the projectile just looks bigger than it actually is.
That’s not how it works.
I’m gonna go cry now
We will be getting the western version of TvC in the UK for Super Vs Battle
Cant wait to try it out.
I still think Frank West, Bionic Commando, and Captain Commando need to be in this
I’m kinda hoping that they throw in the racist genies daughter to replace him, that’d be kinda cool > Tatsunoko needs more small characters anyways ><
Edward Falcon.
He always seemed perfect for the versus games.
And maybe if he was popular enough we could get a Power Stone 3. :wgrin:

This picture is currently on the capcom-unity front page.
Its on the whiteboard and its a picture an NES cartridge for a game called Dream Master…its a Little Nemo game.
Unless people just want to reminisce about old Capcom NES games–it could just be smoke and mirrors since he’s not an official Capcom character but who knows. I just saw this before I started work and I figured I’d share here.
More likely I’m completely wrong.
But I guess the question is, why post an intentionally blurry jpg?
If little nemo was in this game, I would shit myself. Frankly I see no way of this actually happening, but I think I might die from awesome. I would pick him twice.
Little Nemo is a really old comic strip from Windsor McKay. The Capcom game is based on a newer cartoon of the old strip. Anyway, doubtful Little Nemo is showing up in this. That would make it Tatsunoko vs. Capcom vs. Old Comic Strip? Bizarre. Anything is possible I guess but I put money on Capcom re-releasing Nemo for the Virtual Console and nothing more.
Honestly, Little Nemo vs. Capcom would probably be my favorite game ever. I would main that hilariously racist black guy who follows nemo around.
LOL!
Despite the racism (pretty much every strip back then had racist overtones) it was a beautifully drawn strip. Windsor McCay did a lot to advance animation too with Gertie The Dinosaur in 1914.

Yeah, sadly Nemo isn’t owned by Capcom.
the actual (original) Little Nemo strips are public domain now, not sure if its seperate for the cartoon yet.
So its not totally impossible!
MTV’s ideas for 10 TVC Capcom replacements. Noid? Chip and Dale? LOL! WTF is that about Guy not being included in any fighting games before? Never heard of the SFA series? :looney: I guess they mean fighting games that have ‘vs.’ in the title.
Does anyone feels the game more faster than before or is it the missing frames from the videos?
