would anyone recommend me buying this and modding it with a Cthulhu PC/PS3 Board to play on ps3 mainly and maybe on pc?

No dude. I personally wouldn’t recommend that.
If you’re gonna mod a stick to play on the PS3, just get the SC4/Fighting Stick for the PS3 and change out the gate and the buttons.

No, because the stock stick sucks. Just get a HRAP.
Be that as it may, if I had $140 to burn, I’d get one custom made or make one myself.
But yeah, you’re right. HRAP would be the way to go if you have the cash.

You can mod it, it’s been modded before by ppl here on SRK. (I’m sure you can find it via search, I hope…)
It’s a decent stick. It works just like the Exar one, plugs into the Wii remote. I tested it with Street Fighter II (SNES) via Virtual Console. It worked just fine. I noticed that sometimes when rolling inputs quickly I would lose inputs, but for the most part it performed very well.
