OOHHHH I get it. I typed it up the right way almost but in my mind it was all wrong wrong. I was thinking you do the combo and they end up grounded and you otg with M+H Legion and then somehow connect with a L+H Legion. I was so confused. I understand now.
That’s what boards are for, helping people!
I always thought they were for ridiculing new people. : )
Ridiculing jerk new people, maybe. If you have legit question and you haven’t made a fool of yourself people will probably try to help you.
Hey so has anyone played around with cancelling S into a tiger knee Aim Master H in the corner? I just did a super simple combo with lvl 1 Xfactor in the corner and it did over 1,200,000. I dunno how practical it is, but it was simple as hell lol.
cr.LMHS, tk.H, Xfactor, st.MH, <- +H, S, j.MMH, t.H, j.MHS, j.QCF+H xx j.QCF+MH
I’ve sort of started playing around with different assists to see if I could get a combo without using Xfactor. I’m not even sure if this is a practical setup worth exploring though, let me know what you guys think!
Also, how do you guys do the arrows and button icons? lol.
Under smilies, hit more. Scroll down to street fighter smilies. Gives you the codes for them.
And I should probably actually try to learn some X-Factor combos, I feel bad defaulting to super after everything. I’ll go to training mode and see if I can cook up something meterless.
EDIT: Okay, these should all work fairly universally. I literally spent five minutes on this, though, so I could be wrong.
[] means charge, if it’s not there don’t charge the move
X-Factor level 1: :d: :h: :f::h: j. j.:f::h: j. j. j.:h: |> :h: :s: sj. j. j.:f::h: j. j.:h: j.:s: |> :u:j :qcf:[:h:] +:a1: (many assists will work) :h: sj.balskldhfwebr
X-Factor level 2: :d: :h: :f::h: j. j.:f::h: j.:h: (2-hit) j.:qcf: |> (2-hit) :h: :h: :s: sj. j. j.:f::h: j. j.:s:,|> :u:j :qcf::h:
X-Factor level 3: :d: :h: :f::h: j. j.:f::h: j.:h: (2-hit) j.:qcf: |> :h: :h: :s: sj. j. j.:f::h: j.
Thank you!
Okay I know this probably sounds bad but am I just not able to link the heavy into arrows after spidey swing, I don’t know if the timing is strict or I just suck this hard, am I missing something or just need to practice more?
The timing is a little strict. I’ll put the string up again, starting with Spidey Swing-
:f::h:,:f::h:,:h::qcf: (Charged)
I believe that you simply want to do everything in this string as fast as possible. Otherwise, you will drop too low, so you’ll often hit the ground before you can fire off the arrows. You can also end up firing the arrows under smaller characters if you’re lax with the timing and drop too low, and they’ll just air recover out of the combo.
Doing the string as fast as possible will get you and your juggled opponent quite high in the air, which is where you have to be for this combo to work. The :qcf: floats them a bit, and you want to go into :h::h::s: as soon as you hit the ground.
you need to delay something in the new bnb string or they’re too high, at least thats how its been for me
What’s the most damaging combo I can do without using an arrow lift? I’m pretty new to Task I’m still working on the timing for the arrow lift, but I want to have something to use as my bnb in the mean time.
do the new bnb without the arrow lift then
I didn’t realize it when testing before, but playing matches has made me notice the “new bnb” doesn’t work on Zero; he just kinda floats out of it. I already knew it didn’t work on Amaterasu, but it does work on Arthur and Joe.
I’ve done it to him in training mode, maybe the timing is different for zero.
I mean, yes. I’ve done it in training mode. But in matches I find it very difficult to do when not in the corner. It’s wacky. I don’t go for it anymore against people with tiny hitboxes because of their propensity to have something go wrong with it even if it is still possible, simply because tiny characters also generally have tiny HP (capping out at 950k for Wolverine) so I don’t need it to kill them.
I think at some point we should compile a list of what combos alterations need to be made to maximize reliability on each character. For example:
Wesker: :h: before launch, jump straight up to relaunch
Zero: :h: before launch, omit first after launch, jump forward to relaunch
Sentinel: add additional after first Web Swing, (optional :h: ) Charging Star before launch, jump forward to relaunch and for final OTG
Amaterasu: replace st. :h: with cr. :h:, add additional after first Web Swing, (optional :h: ) Charging Star before launch
She Hulk: :h: before launch, omit first after launch, don’t relaunch
Taskmaster: :h: before launch, don’t relaunch
Arthur: (optional :h: ) Charging Star before launch
V. Joe: add additional after first Web Swing, (optional :h: ) Charging Star before launch, jump straight up to relaunch
Iron Man: add additional after first Web Swing, (optional :h: ) Charging Star before launch, jump forward to relaunch
Captain America: :h: before launch, jump forward to relaunch
The new BnB is NICE. Props to you guys. Props to B-Rad as well for posting a variation of it first.
My lag execution sucks though, LOL. I found that I miss it quite abit online. I can hit it consistently offline, but even turning the lag simulator in training mode to 4 bars, I drop it quite a bit. The old BnB, not so much.
The obvious solution is to just not play online ever.
online is so fun though, what with the psychotic messages you get from beating people
