well my succession rate has increase doing the combo
3c -> 5d ~ 6 - 236b -> 2d ~b -> 5c - > drive loop
but it online with delay is a different story. Just stay on practice for an hour :). I’ve even figured out some new combos and a taunt one also.

Now if I could get my own training regiment back up.
The timing is a little tight. It makes a huge difference if you start your combo with a counter hit.
The key is do the second 236 as fast as possible WITHOUT buffering it. That might only make sense in my mind though.
ya i figured out that i had to delay the first 236 if i wanted to be able to do 236bb ->236bb.

It does about 70-90 or so hits depending on your timing, but it does about 1 cm of damage!!!
You can also do this by throwing away from you. It looks gnarly this way!!!:wgrin:
I didn’t even know there was a word for it until i played this game… . I thought it would just occur to everyone to jump again because they have an extra jump to continue a combo. Maybe people have been playing too many stiff fighters.
Well, I think there are a lot of combos that have multiple attacks going on during one jumping phase, and more in another, and anyone who hasn’t actually seen the combo needs to be told where the second (or third!) jump is. Certainly less confusion and guess work that way.

Sometimes when I do 8D in the air, I will get 6D and miss. Is it just me or is there a limitation on that move or something?
For instance, if I hit my opponent with an air-to-air 5C I will jump cancel into 5A, 5C, j.c., 5A, 5C, 8D (with the intention of doing 236BBBB after) but the drive misses.
^Not sure but I think once you reach a certain height on the screen, or have already jumped twice, 8D’d twice, it forces you to do a 6D or even 2D. I can check later today if someone else hasn’t already said it.

Ok my problem Is when i get to the J,236 B, B I usually bounce away from them when trying it, could someone explain why? I hold it at 9 while doing the combo but it still bounces me away, please help?
Anybody else losing consistently to Arakune players?
I think he wants to find a way to make it do damage.
I just find it a little ridiculous when you can go to Brutal Kitty Fest, Taunt, Brutal Kitty Fest and have it deal ridiculous damage, but the combo I listed only does 1 cm of damage. :lame:
That’s because its a taunt combo and that’s just what her taunt does. That is the reason her taunt does hits and why its so ungodly hard to land her taunt combos.
It’s hard to land it online,but people still manage some how. I myself was able to land 3 double taunt combos out of 10 tries online. Usually i could land them 70% offline. This full second of button delay is annoying as fuck!

I usually try to stay off the ground, and when hes in the air catch him in a drive loop.
