My only gripe about MvC3 is that the defense mechanics are utter shit. It’s the only game where you get destroyed for trying to block. Which is also why I believe Americans love it and the Japanese are just kinda ‘meh’ about it. 1 hit=death to character is kinda off putting as well. Everyone in the game should not do #R eddie damage for 10% of the effort.

Seeing as I lacked the foresight to bring any games, and all I have is Vanilla, I suddenly have the inclination to go back and play it. Ryu has combos that take him into the 700+ dmg range.

jin was never really your main, but i remember the times where you were getting some of those hot combos. dont act like you didnt remember puttin some ice cubes in yo purple cup and smile at how hot it was when you were doing it! :lol:
took carl into mission mode to warm myself up to him again and the combos seem alot easier than they were before allegretto cancels and all.

Yeah I’m planning on running dat magical girl exclusively, and hopefully actually getting serious with a game for the first time since Soul Calibur 2 >_<. I guess I’ll have to see how Platinum is before I make that official, though.
Tomorrow I am booked but I would be down for BBCS2 every other night after work this week, I think.
