@Matt - Everything is good man, thinking of getting a new keyboard mouse setup sometime after the holidays, this 518 is starting to show it’s age. Not too sure if i’m going to get another 518 (Best mouse I have ever owned) or try something new from either Razr or Logitech. I’ve never had a “Lazer” mouse, so I might give that a go next time around. As for a keyboard, not sure if I want to invest in another switch keyboard, or just get the saitek… we’ll see…
@Chris- FSU was a LOT of fun last night, thanks for letting me tag along.I was even able to squeak out a few wins LOL I still hate that Cody, but you’re right about the whole speed thing. It definitely makes a difference and helps. Even when I was screwing around with Dudley the blocking and waiting thing was huge. Appreciate it.
We got anything going on next week? I’d like to get some games in then. My Girl is finally moving up Tomorrow, so this weekend will be a busy one for me, I’d be down to host one night next week if we need a place.

Sup bro! Good to hear it. For me once i went mechanical keyboard i cant go back its just too good to play on and typing on it is a breeze. If you dont want to spend the loot on a mech keyboard get like the logitech G15/19 Razer also makes a cheap mech keyboard(Black Widow) for 80$ that has the cherry mx blue switches (the ones that feel like browns but make loud noise similar to an old school typewriter) which i heard were pretty good.
As far as a mouse gos depending on whether your hand is huge or not hmm. For smaller hands id definitely recommend the Razer Death Adder, Imperator, Mamba or the Logitech G9/G9x All of which are good (Loganol and I Have the Razer Death Adder and thoroughly enjoy them) For bigger hands i would try out the Steelseries Xai mice or just get another MX518.
P.S.
Heads up the Razer Death Adder is a 3G Infrared Mouse(compared to the more widely use laser mice) so you might want to do your research on the surface you would be putting it on. Although it should work with 99% mouse pads.
I might try out the RAT 5, I will NEVER get a wireless mouse for gaming, the 5 series looks like it will be perfect for what I want. Thanks for the heads up, I’ll give Mad Catz a try lol…
wow did anyone see the ratio system people are using for kof tourneys. I dont know if its a good system or not but it is really a very interesting idea. And a very innovative way to deter tier whoring in a generally unbalanced game. Its a means of players taking steps to balance match ups themselves. I wonder what the player response would be if this system was applied to other games in a slightly different format.

oh the ratio system limits the number a points people can use in selecting there characters and rank are given to characters based on there placement in the tiers.
They’ve actually tried that in low tier Marvel. Ran a few tournaments using the ratio system, even. Nobody can ever agree on which characters belong where and there are always arguments. Kinda like regular low tier Marvel, except with an added layer of complication for everyone to complain about.
The KOF13 ratio tournament looked pretty cool but I think it was only for fun or just a way for them to start using more characters (since they are based on character usage unlike what Keits originally said; based on tiers). Hopefully it doesn’t stay this way for real tournaments or anything. I think once the rest of the world gets their hands on the game we might not see K’/Raiden/Anyone all day.
well that is the flaw with the system that it has to be based on tiers that everyone universally agrees on. Still i like the idea even if its just to promote varied character usage. and low tier marvel is awesome.
Um no k raiden and kyo is what your going to get. Its been a lot of tourneys so far and those characters are just too good. Meaning people in various countries with the game and running tournies are having them represented in the winners circle nearly all the time. The only other characters that can hang with them 3 is joe and he might be soft banned until a patch is issued for the infinite.

I finished the Halo Reach campaign and you were right it did have a really bad story. Sure it tied everything together but how are you gonna merc someone off, play some sad face music, and expect your audience to show emotion if your characters arent fleshed out. I know they have a budget but damn… Multiplayer is even shit compared to COD:BO
