@Chris - Next time we get together, I want to spend some time with my current Wolvie / Deadpool combos… I can get like 645k using one meter, but I feel I can get more out of it… I must be missing something…

You know what, since everyone seems to pick better characters for me than I seem to, who do you all think I should play? Given my strengths and weaknesses in various games, what team would best suit my playstyle? I’m interested to hear people’s thoughts.

Dante is free after block because he can’t get away easily. This gets him killed frequently. His optimal space is in the middle, not too far not too close. The majority of you guys aren’t super great with defense. You can practice combos for days but defense is learned in game and this game hasn’t evolved to the point where defense has become key. The blow em up quick combos are everyone’s focus still and the don’t get blown up quick tactics (that made MvC2) have yet to surface. They will though, once the optimal combos are all discovered then attention will shift to how to stay alive. Wheres the advanced tactics vids for MvC3? haha. I guess the “Counter Amy super vid” is kinda what I mean. There will be tons of that shit before the end.
Take that with a grain of salt, considering I’m no where near as good at this game as I was at the last.
And that’s it, unless he runs Tron/Haggar he has to block correctly while there’s cold shots/drones/jam session/etc in his face, most of the longer assists givt.e you a day and a half to mix him up, hell with drones you can run a left right mix up OR instant overhead him, which I am not seeing a lot of people do yet. (regarding instant overheads)
Adam, have you worked gthe DHC trick into your combos? You fan touch of death most if not the whole cast with a full Deadpool combo into Cuttin’ Time DHC into Berserker Charge into a berserker slash loop or just s regular combo.

@ Mike J - If I DHC I can get over 1 million, i’m just talking before I go that route… i’m thinking i should be able to get around 700k before having to call in a DHC…

You can customize them however you want. Since you’re talking keeping the Vewlix layout for MK, you can get button 1 and 8 not cut so you wont have to use ugly button plugs…
I use instant overheads with wolvie all the time! Matter of fact just discovered a couple days ago his instant overhead L that hits the entire cast crouching, combos into drill claw with no assists while He is lvl 3 xfactor and berserker charged!
Not gonna lie, bricks were shat when I saw that.
