speak of the devil jwong has been beasting with thor hsien chris on the charity stream in socal. tri jump fierce is crazy good. um nia looks to be up and running so i we may be doing something this weekend if things stay smooth this whole week. GGs to Mike J. Haha, that Dante was too much. I always felt like I could get wins off until he came on the screen cus its just free pressure until my defense cracks because I can’t identify/punish holes in the rush down, and tbh, I hate fighting him. He, Ammy, and Wolvie feel like the cheapest and cheesiest characters in the game.
EDIT: of course, I play c.LP, boss bitch, and sonic boom in super, so I don’t really have too much room to talk.
Shoutouts to Drew for coming up in Super like he has. Have to go and rework my Fei Long a bit because of last night. Can’t expect to get anywhere not being able to competently hit confirm Rekka strings and getting crap damage from jump ins that I rarely get now (thank God :D)

Arcana Heart 3 is hitting that good PS3. I hope those of you who cant get it to run on PC get on it. I want to play it again sometime.
Chris, If I’m trying to Dhalsim you just super jump, the Artemis lasers onky track once they release, which means they can’t hit a fast target, and the Kalina Ann missles are the same. He’s really weak at close range. His fastest move is 8 frames, so you can throw lights all day against him. Basically cover yourself with an assist and getting in will be cake. Just watch for the hammer, and do NOT zone him.
I really want to get on that shit, but I don’t have a PS3 stick >_<. Stupid console exclusive fighting games.
Why not zone Dante? His counter zone is terrible. The only remedy for it is teleport and you can jump throw is ass for death combos…
Doom and a beam assist will literally destroy you if played right. Just curious what the thinking is. Maybe I missed something.
His team can’t effecticely zone Dante. Doom, deadpool, trish, and pheonix are a bit trickier to get in on, but Storm, Magneto, and Akuma are better off rushing down with their quicker normals. Actually, Akuma can probably safely chuck Zanku’s because he can’t hit Akuma after teleport, and Dante can’t charge Artemis without getting tagged with an air hyper. I may be wrong but that seems to be my experience, if Ron/Logan/Crespo have anything to add I’d like to hear YOUR take on it.
Magneto has the 2nd best zone in the game…you can punish it with teleports, but at the same time you can predict teleports and get a free kill.
Okay, 2nd best is too much…but it’s still really, really good. I’d say better than Doom/Trish, but not in terms of raw zoning power, but because he can re-establish his zone much better than they can.
I’d still recommend rushing dante down, regardless of his zoning ability. He has no reliable got off me button outside of proper assists.
im starting to think everyone hate thor because he plays really different than everyone else with his same tool set. Jumping fierce is gdlk though.
Deadpool zone is too good he can definitely zone dante. I personally think its harder to rush dante down than it is to zone him. All he has to get around zones is the teleport which u can predict or blow up with throws or gdlk assist to protect your ass while zoning. But rushing him down u have to deal with the range of his pokes and speed which few people can, and his priority on his moves. Not to mention if he has a good assist you might be doing what he wants u too anyways by coming to him just to get blown up.

I see shitload of potential with deadpool. His high/low mix up is solid, his overhead is boss if covered and those guns hurt.
My problem with rushing down dante is his standing and crouch A. I swear his c.A is the longest c.A in the game and stand A is one of the best anti tri jump normals ever
