I wouldn’t be surprised if Evo has both MvC2 and MvC3 repped in the future, similar to SSF4 amd SSF2HDR in the past.

GGs. Jay had fun. Got my good chun loops and sent combos down. Just frame sentinal wavedash is fucking amazing i love doing it. and capn is THE anti fireball/zoning character charging star gos thru fucking everything including multi hitting projectiles and supers including dormammus ground shit(LOL) and does hella damage in basic bnbs
My sentiments with this game are that it has alot of good factors but x-factor(the way its implimented) completely fucks this game. I play a set with jay tonight some great matches and the last sets came down to 3-5 meter dormammu vs 3-5 meter Sentinal with x-factor. Dumbest shit ever.
I will continue to play this game but if people drop off after the first month or so. Than we always got the poverty fighters MBAA, AH3 and some BBCS to fall back on.
SSFIV AE, MK9, and BBCS2 should be out this year hopefully
after playing the game for a good long while its just what i was saying before. Xfactor is game breaking, and if its not patched this game will have little to no longevity especially with other fighters/games on the horizon. Its this bad and no one is hardly even abusing its true capabilities.
Its a fun game but justin wong was right this will not overtake marvel or street fighter for that matter in popularity.

Hey noob question but exactly how does one wavedash? Ive been doing A+B (2~A+B)xN but occasionally I’ll hit an accidental hyper (yeah I totally wanted final justice lol). Can everyone wavedash? Figure this would be something good to learn with all the push blockin goin on in this game.
Jarv: IIRC, anyone who can cancel their dash can wave dash.

The game is fun: I’ll give it that. Not nearly good enough to comment on the competitiveness of it, but X-Factor/Phoenix are eh. Good ol’ RANDOM SELECT, however… 
Got my multi-console stick finished, so now I’ll be playing Alpha, CVS2, 3S (kind of - this parry shit is stupid to me), MVC3 (Ryu, Chun and hmmm… someone with a solid anti-air assist) and SSF4. Working on Ibuki now… this bitch is hard to use.
I can do the just frame wavedash in this game pretty consistantly and how i do it is
forward
is L+M+H, down, L+M+H, down, L+M+H…
and to go backward
i do Back+L+M+H, DB, D, Back+L+M+H, DB, D…
You only need 2 buttons but i just do it because none of my characters have like down down moves, and because its easier for me to get the repetitions by hitting all 3 instead of 2.

Haggar is not that bad for a quasi-big/quasi-slow character. The assist is amazing.
Loving the new Doom too. This cat is so freaking fun. But its like…I’m gonna do some flashy combo for 600k and then Dante is gonna do ole faithful for 600k or fuck Sent just roflstomps for 600k…the different learning curves makes this game annoying. I could do some difficult tight shit or I could play random characters like CapAm, Sent, Dante or Haggar that do hella for flailing like an seizing epileptic!
Haggar is WAY too fun, though. He’s got a permanent spot on my teams. Pipe loling aside, nothing looks cooler than chaining some grabs together to a launcher. Also, doing a sweep just so you can roll around is pretty boss.
The whole Phoenix/DarkPh is a joke, though. Like, if it comes down to just you and her and she’s got five meters, GG’s. AND she has X-Fac? Might as well put down the controller. She can run away better than almost any char and will time you out with zero problems, hahahaha.
EDIT: I am literally in tears. Some Amaterasu player did her ‘slow’ super as Mayor Mike Haggar came down on her jaws with a drop kick for the win. It was beautiful.
EDIT THE 2ND: Someone broke my ten game ranked match streak. When did they change it so Dorm can have two floating spheres on screen without XF? Or is it only if one is already hitting you that he can bring out another?

yeah, I don’t see this game being a serious tounrey contender but it is fun to mess around with. I have gotten use to many changes already.
I’m gona split time with this and T6, my kid likes T6 more anyway so I gotta keep him happy.
Of course when TTT2 comes out, I think I will do that and nothing else.
@mikeG: When the first recovers, he gets actions, so he can throw another. They don’t go away until you 1-hit him or 2-they hit you for 20 hits. Oh, and if he DHCs, the orb stays out. Dormamu with x factor and more than 3 meters is really, REALLY gay.

Also, I’m all for playing without xfactor lol. They don’t have to patch it well just make our own rule. Xfactor is the same as pausing mid match, instant DQ!! Lol. Seriously let’s make it a rule. Game becomes 10x better immediately.
