Gotta tell ya…this game is disappointing as fuck.
Its the skin of a good fighter wrapped around bullshit. I’m not saying I won’t play but I’m not saying its any better than any of the other shitty games they’ve put out in the last 3 years.
Yeah, I feel like it could’ve done with either: more time on development, or more actual location testing with different builds. Both of which cost more money, so it’s understandable.
With a few tweaks the game could be great, but as of right now it’s nowhere near as good as MvC2.

I think I’ve spent more time with wesker so far than anyone else. I’m loving him. He’s so reminds me of slayer from GG in a lot of ways.
This is the way I look at it, MvC2 has been out for 10 or 11yrs if import it like I did back in 2000. We must be able to accept change, we’ve got to realize that all good thing come with time. I can remember a time in the early days, when MvC2 first came to the arcade, most of us ether refused or barely use the assist system, and it took for the original ridetakers of Tally to go to Jax and O-town to see different points of view to an already deep game. People, we’ve got to open our minds to change.
There’s good change…and then there’s xfactor. This will never, ever be a legitimate tournament game while it exists like it does. It is, without question, the most retarded mechanic ever introduced in a fighting game.
Certainly makes erasing a character easy mode for anyone who picks up a controller… I do enjoy the game a lot so far though.
I’m not saying the game is problem free. But nether is MvC2 with its assist spamming,run away power bar building,infinities,guard canceling oh and not to mention the fact that most of the roster gets owned at tournaments.(Unless your Mizter Ed, who can play with the most off the wall characters in any fighting game for that matter and own everybody he meets.) We’re in a new age where cheapness can be fix via update. I feel that instead of reforming to the problem, we should adapt to the situation and adjust accordingly. I say this b/c that what ridetakers do!
