No on the DMg reduction. It’s fine outside of xfactor. If they do that keepaway teams will end in time out Wayyyy too often and some characters will still have 100% combos even with the a nerf so it would only really Hurt certain characters.
Lol who would have a 100% combo with a damage nerf and a reworked X-factor? Maybe Sent? Who won’t be playable in any tournament ever…

So I’ve gotten up to 656k w/ Ryu, no assist and one bar. Chun is at 574k, same thing. Some of the super tight shit (like 2x lightning legs or fierce into JC series into lightning legs and land in time for another series) to up her damage is hard for me right now, lol.
Still need to get my third worked out (most probably Akuma, unless I want to break away from the SF theme and get a char with a good lock down assist), but I think I have a gameplan now that will revolve around Chun.
Use Akuma hes fucking gdlk.

Sidenote: Doom is going to be A tier for sure. Take out Sent and he is as good if not better than anyone in the game. He’s not easy. But once his full potential is realized he’s going to be retarded.

Wish the blaring deficiencies weren’t so blaring, but its new and fun and I’m going to law school in the fall so this may be my last non-casual fighter. That being said I’m going to kill all of you at this game. Logan will be close but only because he will whore out brain dead strats that fall into the “blaring deficiencies” category. Although I saw actual tight Storm stuff happening earlier…though as he pointed out you get the same damage from the dial-a-combo…
So with storm I can do either of these two combos after landing a crouching A.
- cr.A, standing B, cr. C jump cancelled into instant float S, land, standing B, cr. C jump cancelled into instant float S, standing B, S, super jump B, C, S, land, otg hailstorm = 537,200 dmg
OR
2) cr.A, standing B, cr.C, super jump B , C , S , land, otg hailstorm = 494,900 dmg
so adding all that tight look jump cancelled instant float stuff, (which looks mad tight mind you), I net a total dmg gain roughly equivalent to standing light (standing light is 33,000 dmg).

I couldn’t agree with you more on Doom. I love his missile assist and the fact that they made him faster. Sanford said that Doom was the fan favorite in NY. For the most part he is in every team I pick.

Also, if you could break down your analysis on the rest of the cast, that’d be great too. I would do the same, but since I’m new to the engine, I wouldn’t have a clue of what to look for.
Since we are talking about tight combos, this is the new Chun BnB I have planned on big chars (possibly leading to an infinite) - haven’t tried it yet, but I have a feeling it will work:
