The game looks to be similar to Capcom’s Warzard (Red Earth): a fantasy themed fighter. The graphics looks amazing, and I’m very curious as to how the mighty Taito’s (of Space Invaders etal) first (afaik) foray into fighters will go (seems a bit late dont it?).
Anyone else got any links or extra info about this game?
It’s being made by eolith, who also made KOF 2001 and 2002 I think. Also it’s been in production for a very long time.
Originally it was announced for Taito G-net system, but it’s probably being ported to their new Type-X system.

They’ve made a few fighters, going back to Renegade 1986 (first game to feature throws!)… And I suppose Ninja Warriors, if you could call that a fighter.

Been waiting for more news on Chaos Breaker since seeing a pic of it several months ago. Glad to see the project nearing completion.
Oh yeah I fergot abt Kaiser Knuckle…thats not too bad a game actualy. Anyone actualy had chance to play it competetively? Violence Fight just cracks me up.

If you look closely, you’ll notice that 1P’s character is behind the cannon. From the pic of the chara select screen, it appears that you select your characters and their weapons separately. I wonder how many outlandish/outrageous weapons there’ll be, besides the huge cannon.
edit: just watched Eight-One’s vid…this game looks fucking AWESOME! REALLY smooth animation…like Rumblefish but not hokey-looking like TRF sometimes does. And it’s 3on3…man, this could be the next big thing. I’ve got high hopes.
Whoa, looks promising. I’m digging the fantasy theme, especially the Undead guy on the horse. However, the guy with the two swords looks like what would happen if the Demon Hunter from Warcraft III was made into a Mortal Kombat sprite. Besides that, I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
