Just wondering if anyone on SRK that doesn’t post on VFDC is up for VF5 as well? We have around 8 players so far so it’ll still happen most likely but it’d be pretty awesome if we got nominated for a side tournament!
Ninja edit: Entry fee is set to $5 so far but if enough people demand it, I’ll drop it down to $2.
Matthieu; you’ll have to clarify with DarkDragon if you can run VF5 at all if it doesn’t clear 16 players. All tournaments have to meet a requirement. On top of that, if it doesn’t have a donated TV at the very least, I can speak for DarkDragon when I say it has 0 chance of being played without 16 players as resources are already tight as it is.
Well, we know the tournament requires 16. All of the entrants for the game came from VFDC. But, I do the get feeling the no one on SRK plays VF5. It just seems to be the trend.
For the TV, I’ll bring my own and possibly a second one as well so that’s not a problem.
I’ll PM Darkdragon once tonight I guess and check if it’s still possible if we don’t clear 16 players by then. I’m not too worried tho as we already have 8 players with VFDC players and a few of our friend and I only posted the topic 2 days ago but we might hit a wall sometime, nothing’s sure until it’s all done.

Yorkdale is a pretty far walk. If you’re taking the TTC, the Eglinton West station is a LOT closer.
