I do have a conclusion, this game has potential, and it has been proven in Japan, Taiwan, Shanghai, HK, and Korea and?. maybe everywhere but north America XD so is up to us to revive it in TO and boost it up. I do give some scrubby tutorz to the new players I see in orbit, so they will stop mashing and see a path to learn. Therefore, the good playerz have to stop playing! And teach instead Not a lot of new players can last, you do have to taste winning to win. But is up to them to continue, winnerz don’t quit and quiterz don’t win.

First of all, I feel that i need to apologize to Dice. Obviously if ur reply nagata’s post was a sarcastic post, i missed it ~_~. it seemed like u were flaming the ggxx community so i had to fight back, but since u arent, im sorry. btw the toronto thread is in the “world” section.
2nd, Gerjay, im not saying the players of ggxx gets no respect, im saying the game itself gets no respect, however thinking about what u post and wing posts about how RF/Kindevu gets respect coz they dominate more than one game and how we cant play anything but ggxx seems like our players get no respect for playing ggxx itself. so if i wanna be a good player in ggxx, i hafta play cvs2? and yes, i was harsh at dice after reading what u posted, and im sorry for that. But i think what he needs to do is actually talk to us when he sees us at orbit or something, instead of just posting on SRK randomly without us knowing who he is in the first place. but its all the past now, things are cleared up.
3rd, Nagata, tnx for clearing things up with the orbit management and stuff. It looks like i misunderstood u because i never actually know anything about how u support us coz its not apparent to us except for the people u listed. All i see is u doing something for every other game but ggxx, so im sorry to u too. About us trying to revive ggxx, yes we are doing it, we actually know quite a few players who are interested in ggxx, but they only play console. We’ve convinced them to play at an arcade and join tournaments, but they end up losing then quitting and think its a waste of money. We’ve tried to promote tournaments (i think K2 and his friend made a poster for the tournament) but it didnt turn out too well. The problem with GGXX is the fact that theres so many different ways of playing this game (each character is played COMPLETELY differently), theres no standard style of playing this game, a lot of technical stuff (FD, IB, FRC, RC, etc) it takes a really long time to learn and actually win a match. This really discourages new players from joining. We’ve tried teaching the new players, but they simply think the game is too hard, and theres no top tier or anyhting they can abuse and win easily. This is why we want ggxx / in orbit, because its the newest version so people can practice at home on console. But we’ve tried many things, results arent great, and i feel that we need at least some help from a larger community. I didnt see this support before, but now that u’ve explained what u have been doing, then my long post is a pile of BS =P.
Anyway, it feels like this whole thing is a big mess of misunderstandings + improper use of sarcasm on internet. Im think i need to apologize to everybody i pissed off. sorry guys. Time to check the TO thread

js, this game is hard to learn, but when u know the system you can beat alot of ppl here, the reason is that we don’t have alot of gamers
ppl like u and dickson, are both talented in video games, so there is no problem for you guys to learn it, however, ypu still have alot to learn in this game, look at the JP players, they are insane

Nagata or DarkDragon: Its to my understanding that ST has been added to the 5 on 5 and there will be ST singles. Is that actual ST and not Hyper ST? I know AE was there last year and it would make more sense to have Anniversary Edition for singles instead of ST since of course it will be at Evo. I dont mind ST but once again at this current time ST is irellevant with Evolution coming up. If the game is there it only makes sense to have Hyper ST.
