At last, the civil war between west and east coast Canadians concerning the greatest Canadian mvc2 player will come to an end. Representatives from both coasts will clash in an epic Round Robin battle to determine the victor. Will Jiggabry, the hope of sauga trample the west? Will Tao, the fist of the northstar slip away with the victory before the others even know they lost it? Will Samnang, the moustache, THE JWONG SLAYER, awaken from his WOW slumber and unleash his hidden fury? What of the other known as JJ tactics? Will the prodigy return? Hell WILL break loose…

Pre-Registration**
Its common knowledge that people don’t want to stay all hours in the night for tournament so we would like to get this done as quick and smooth as possible. We have created a registration site and we would strongly suggest everyone who will be playing please register with this site. You can also sign up your friends if they can’t do so themselves. Also, those who neglect to pre-register with this site will have $5 CAD added to the cost of their first game. The extra money will be added as the prize money for the Best in Canada match. I repeat; Please pre-register yourself and your friends. We do not want to be stuck all hours in the night because we couldn’t start on time and random people show up unannounced.

One machine (we should have multiple machines for each game outside of slash, T5:DR and the side tournaments) will be used for the 5 on 5’s while the other(s) will be used for tournament purposes.
Sunday:
All other games that have a carry over will take place on this date at 3:00pm. If last year was any indication we will need this carry over date. The time may seem late but considering the late shows last year due to very late finish and after tournament partying/poker/etc this seemed like the best course of action.
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION OFFICIAL TOURNAMENTS:
All tournaments will have a distribution of 70/20/10. There are no cuts to the management or any of that other stuff. Whatever goes into the pot, goes back out to the players.

All tournaments will have a distribution of 80/20. There are no cuts to the management or any of that other stuff. Whatever goes into the pot, goes back out to the players.

We all should know the basic rules by now (no gamebreaking glitches, keep the same team/order, judgement in 3s is used etc…) but there is one thing I want to go over with everyone.
BROKEN STICKS/BUTTONS:
I shouldn’t be even writing this but people like to play the ignorant card. If you have any stick/button problems at anytime, STOP PLAYING, get up and inform the director. The stick will be fixed and the match will be replayed. If you decide to whine about the sticks after the match, YOU WILL NOT GET A REPLAY MATCH. This has happened more times than I can count now and I’m sick of it.
P.S. You bang the machine hard for any reason and it malfunctions, you play through that round. End of discussion.
