That was what I was refering to. You only face off with 7 people in an 8 man RR (since you dont’ play yourself), so N wasn’t 8, it was 7. And how that i think about it, you also forgot to divde by 2. the actualy formula is n*(n-1)/2.
And CS is the best major ever. The whole point of CS is to write programs for things so that you don’t have to do it yourself.
Edit: i’m just going to geek out and use 8C(hoose)2 ftw. 8C2 = 8!/6!2! = 28. then you double it for 56.
