anyways, it’s pretty obvious that jiggabry DOESN"T want to play qualifyers. if he’s really into the gaming scene, he’d let every opportunity for other people who fucking travel across canada to play him come through. but being unlike ANY local champion i’ve ever met, he’s denying myself, jj_tactics and any other person who actually wants to play him a chance to play him in non bullshit “i’ll pick stupid characters so if i lose i’ll say i had stupid characters and if i win, i’ll say i’m better than you cuz i won with stupid characters” casual matches.

ps: i kinda forgot there would be a “best in canada” round robin thingy so that’s why i was really intent on having qualifying matches. i honestly don’t give a shit about qualifying, i don’t think i’d pay $500 to go to a tourney if i didn’t even think i’d make the qualifyers. run the tourney they way you wanna run it (stephen and nagata, it’s not my tourney). i think option #3 being the best one posted out of the other ones

I’m sorry to bother you during your very childish MvC2 ambitions to inform you that the 5 on 5 A3 Tournament is an EMPIRE ARCADIA against Canada 5 on 5.
Therefore, Prez will be playing on the Empire Arcadia’s side, meaning the Canadian team has changed.
Tony and I were discussing of running Preliminary Rounds to determinate the team, we could probably run the Prelims either in Montreal and leave a spot for Dublo7, unless some exceptionals circumstances,a Montreal player could do a 4 out of 7 against him to grab the spot.
I just wanted to inform you of the issue, it is quite important for Prez was considered a Key player on the Team.
If any players from the West wants to join that i am unaware of, you could inform us on this thread so we can figure out something.
I’ll be speaking to Temujin hopefully on the weekend, I will get back to you guys on this.

marvin: yeah it is hard to accurately judge someone’s superiority in a few days. and the situation is i guess different since there’s tons of top third strike players in TO who are all tops etc, while in marvel there’s plateaus and a skill difference is much more easily felt. but seeing as this archer guy really wants to go and play on the 5v5, it seems a lil unfair to deny him even the chance of trying out. i mean, i don’t even wanna be on the marvel 5v5 but i’m willing to bet if i do a bit of persuasion, i can even make it so i’ll be guaranteed a spot. (which i don’t want)

They have more than two 3S players. Personally I’d like to see Flash and Floe (OH GOD!) come up this year because last year’s 3S 5 on 5 was a joke.

I’m sure anyone would play serious for a dollar a game just because its a money match. If you feel like you should make the bet more to make him play harder, then do it. Playing him in the 5v5 qualifier isnt the only way to get a serious match with him. Thats all I’m trying to say.
