Uh I already told your Montreal buddies that we didnt want you on the team and I said that there are 3 other people who deserve the spot more than you, and someone (I won’t name who) said “That Red Urien guy that beat Justin and then beat Ricky should be on the team”. They said they’d talk to you about it. I told them when we were outside smoking. And what do you mean no one told you “Ben doesn’t want you on the team”? I posted on SRK a long time ago and argued my ass off to get a CVS2 spot just so I could trade it for your 3s spot cuz I didn’t want you on the team. I will also admit that I said that I would find any way possible to have you not play on the 5 on 5. Really, I did. You make all these challenges for CVS2 spots and play for them, but then when Ack challenged you for your spot, you said No. Fuck that, dude.
So after the singles tournament, we put Ack on the team, but there was 1 more spot

4)Henry [he won T6 so I say put his ass in there]

But before the 5 on 5 took place, you were nowhere to be found. I think it might have been Nagata (I could be wrong) that even said “Alex left already”.
So what do we do with the last spot? Jeff wanted Dickson on the team, but Ben and I wanted Secret Weapon on the team. Jeff was really confident in Dickson, but Ben and I are really confident about Secret Weapon. So putting our “co-captain” titles aside, we made Secret Weapon and Dickson play for the spot in 1 match, 3 out of 5 rounds on the casual play machine. Dickson wins it fair and square. So hell, put his ass on the team!
Next thing you know, Ben is playing Arturo’s Alex, and Ryan makes a comment that Alex sucks and he says “not you, we’re not talking about you. we’re talking about The character” and he looks at you. That was the first time I saw you after the “Alex left already” thing. But wtf do you want me to do, just put you back on the team? say to Dickson “okay. you’re not on the team anymore”.
Sorry dude if you feel that you got scammed but we honestly thought you left, we couldn’t find you, and you didnt make any attempt to talk to any of us about being on the 5 on 5 the whole weekend anyway.
But let’s put that aside and let me set some more things straight.
Did I want you on the 5 on 5? No. I didn’t. I said a long time ago that Veasna should be on the 5 on 5 instead of you.
Did Nech Neb want you on the 5 on 5? Nope.
Did your friends? Nope.
Did YOU think you belonged on the team? I’m gonna go with “no”.
Was Ack a good replacement than you? This one’s obvious.
Did you win the Montreal Qualifer? No. Veasna won it. You won some unregulated match after the qualifier, which wasnt regulated to begin with cuz Lars wasnt there.
Would we have won if you were on the team? Yes (The 5 on 5 would have been won already by the time it was your turn.
Why didn’t anyone talk to you about the 3s 5 on 5? Because Ben and I didn’t even know who was on the team. We just said "let’s just wait till the fucking 5 on 5 and see who’s there, and pick the best people there. So we picked the person that eliminated Ben, the person that eliminated Me, and the person that eliminated Justin Wong and Ricky Ortiz.
I’m not trying to diss you. I’m just telling you the truth. You know me. I’ll just say it like it is. It has nothing to do with the fact that you’re from Montreal. AneurysmX, JS Master, and Adam B are all great players and all 3 of them wanted to be on the team too. And I said straight up to AneurysmX that he just can’t be on the team. AdamB said to me “i know i probably won’t be on the 5 on 5, but I want you to know that I really want to be”. And still he couldn’t be on the team.
So please don’t think that it’s a Toronto thing. It’s a Canada thing. And I didn’t scam you.

had any of the original TO players been around from when the game first came out EIGHT YEARS AGO, justin/ricky would not have gotten anywhere in the top 8.
toronto has always been strong in this game, and i dont mean those white boys who you see trickle down these few years… the real TO players didnt speak the english… Neither did their true nyc chinatown counterparts… both of which had Over 40 regulars on high levels of play starting in 2i. They Were On Jap Levels. (+being totally accessable. all cali had in 2i was double denjin)
TEAM USA made of 5 cali members heh. HSIEN flying to cali every month to find 3s comp lol.

unless coarse your 1 of the only 2 other ppl crazy enough traveling looking for 2i comp like that 10yrs ago. toronto downtown was always a powerhouse, they just never will travel.

Great tournament. Surely nothing got started on time but this allowed for more causual which I really enjoyed. No complaints there. Usually I get bored from watching people play but not this time. I was mainly watching T5 and CvS2 and I was amazed at the overall skill level of everyone.
Random comments:
-Fuck you token stealers. I lost about 4 tokens. I had put down on 2 machines because sometimes the waiting can be long. Sometimes I had to use the washroom and move around to watch other games and when I come back, a token is missing…go to hell
-Great casual games in CvS2. I was suprised I held winning streaks.
-Come to think of it, I always have to fight players like JS or Ratio1beatdown in my 2nd match which inevitably puts me in the losers. This time, I played Ricky Ortz. No shame in losing to him. Most of my matches were either incredibly hard or incredibly easy.
-I hate A Sakura. I can almost swear that she’s the only source of damage A groove users deal to me. I hate A Rolento too.
-Tao I forgot to give you 50 cents for paying for my match. Sorry man. It was like 2 or 3 in the morning and my mind was numb. I wanted to sleep and forgot everything. If it makes you feel better, blame the fucker(s) who kept taking tokens.
-I managed to use/lose all my tokens! Fantastic!!! I don’t have to come back here!
-I lost my cell phone somehow. But I was so immersed in the games I nearly forgot about it!
Deep thanks to everyone that came from far away. Just by showing up, you have shown your competitive spirit. It was an honour to play so many great players from all across North America.
