T6 Full Results (From Arcadia Website)

Come on people; there’s already two locked threads. Let’s smarten up, keep this thread clean, and clear off bullshit(including me, I admit, one of the primary culprits). If there’s any issues about the avatars or any other Canadian Empire issues, take it to Atlantic North —> Toronto thread. I’ve copied the results straight from the Empire Arcadia Website, full thanks goes to them for compiling and organizing the results.

Empire Arcadia: Winner

Not too sure about that points system. Canada blames Kymah for pushing for CFJ, which caused us to lose instead of tying T6. WE HATE YOU KIN!

Once again, thanks to Empire for the results. They’re from this thread: http://empirearcadia.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=262

wtf? captn america?

Yeah the guy with the shield, stupid.

Ahh…good back to normal. You know something, now that you mentioned it. I know you must be thinking to yourself, why is Ricky called Capt’n America? Well that is fairly simple. Like Ricky most of the Empire players I have named based off of just what they have done. People get confused as to what coast Ricky really represents. West or East? Now I have stated numerous times that the Empire has “No” coast because we are not about coastal rivalries. Although the Empire was forged in the East Coast, we are still gamers of the “WORLD”. However gamers still had conflicts as to where Ricky’s origins lie as although he lives in the West Coast which would make him officially West Coast he travels to the East Coast alot. For instance, he has been here for about 3 weeks now going on a month. Prior to that he was here for ECCX for about 2 weeks.

Ricky travels alot back and forth for the Empire and himself, Texas, Jersey, Rhode Island, Japan, Chicago, VA, Philly etc etc…that in truth, Ricky just travels too much to even grant him a coast. Thus I said…this guys all over america, and he is my CVS2 Captain, just as Marvelous (Justin Wong) is the Empire’s Marvel captain. So it would only be fitting that he be dubbed “Capt’n America”. There are other little nick names that we call him just to for short. His original Ricky “O”, Capa, Able or Captn A. So now you know why I named him Captn’ America. However we still call him Ricky on the normal, its only in our tournament results that we really call him Captn’ America.

…AND THE REST IS HISTORY!!!
Random.

I say we go to London next and take out Englands best!!
The legend known as Evil!!

The “Evil” player you’re referring to who beat Daigo at Absolution 2004 is from France, not England.

I dont remember CVS2 5 on 5 being 18 - 7. Figures you got it from Empire site. I also thought Empire only had 7 wins in the 3S 5 on 5? I might be wrong.

empire only had 7 wins on the 3s 5on5

If CVS2 was 18-7
Then 3S should be 18-7

But its from the Empire site, figures.

Exclude the CFJ tourney that didn take place…and the Team points wouldnt even be close.

Why wasnt ther a 5 on 5? If its because ther wasnt enough time, that should be Empires fault. They should get 0 pts.

~Born to Play~

Okay Arcade Kid…since you want the entire truth. First, lets talk about points. The points for CVS2 are what I got from the tournament as I asked for them and “NO ONE” knew the answer. So that is what I got from the guy in the hat who I think manages the Arcade. Which to be honest matters very little because we won CVS2. The same for 3rd Strike, Both Ricky and Justin held up there part in that game accounting for 10 wins, but because we got beat badly in the game I wanted to make sure that Canada looked good in beatin us in the game. So what to do? Triforce asked himself. "Well when you look at it, all that matters is that the empire won CVS2 and Canada won third strike so give them both a rapage score. Thus, you guys beat us in 3rd strike worst than we beat you in CVS2 to make it look good. Point is Canada won there game Empire won theirs. No point complaining about points. Yes in the end it would look good on a score sheet…but guess what? Still lost.

Now why no CFJ? Okay lets touch a few points. Canada agreed to CFJ being in the tournament. Then on the last day at 9pm they want to renig on it. I told Nagata thats stupid, so how is this going to end. What if Empire takes CVS2 and Canada takes 3Rd, then we would be left with at tie. That would be stupid. Plus we would have came all the way from the Empire state just to have a no contest because Canada changed their mind? So Nagata and “CANADA” said well we don’t mind dropping the game, meaning that they had to beat us in CVS2 and 3rd Strike to win, if we won any o the two, we would “AUTOMATICALLY” gotten CFJ and would have still one.

PLUS we were very confident that we were going to WIN CFJ as Canada doesn’t play that game like that, and that is the reason why Canada dropped the game to begin with. The only point I see of yours, is that Canada should have played it out as it was only 10:55 when 3rd strike ended and it was a tie, but they said “No, Canada CONCEDES” so we were like okay, lets call it an early night. NO one argued, it was all good, we shook hands, and laughed it up.

I know your not taking this very serious and this reply isn’t “Really” a serious one. This is just to point out some points about the last game of the event as your post is making it seem as if we luckly got away with beating you in the 5 on 5. The only way you can say that is if you are talking about Marvel. For yes…if you guys would have been able to beat Sanford, let alone Justin you would have beaten us in Marvel then it would have been 2-0, and we would have to had won 3rd and CVS2 to tie. So the chance Canada had to beat the Empire was in Marvel against Sanford and Justin. You guys came close…but you didn’t win. Good game. Hail.

Im not Arcade Kid. Im the guy who was wearing the FAVRE jersey, who asked you outside of the arcade if you wanted to bet on the 3S 5 on 5. Yeah i know you guys won T6, i just wanted the score to be accurate.

NICE!

no they didnt

heeheeeheehee!!

Okay…Nagata isnt THAT big

Who said that?

Canada isnt THAT cold, buddy. It’s all sun and clouds here.

Yeah, I noticed that too. We reneged on CFJ, we didn’t make it black again.

CFJ was never official, on the arcadia forum nagata says no. one person wanted to make it. It was a tie.

For the record, I approached Nagata Lock late into sunday night and asked when the CFJ 5 on 5 would be.

Nagata: Not going to happen.
Kin: Why not?
N: There’s no time.
K: Come on, why don’t we just run it now?
N: No.
K: Please?
N: Kin, no one wants to play that game but you. We’re going to get slaughtered.
K: …ok, can I go home then?
N: Later.

Nagata: Hey, we’re cancelling CFj.
TFGM: What, why?
N: There’s no time.
T: Wait, so what happens if we win Cvs, and you guys win 3rd strike. Then we would be tied in the 5 on 5. We have to resolve this.

N: …Ok, if there’s a tie, you guys win CFJ by default.
T: Ok.

Leave it alone ppl.

OK let’s put this CFJ issue to rest.

First of all, I didn’t want this game on the roster to begin with. There is no viable CFJ scene in the GTA or anywhere in Canada for that matter. It was a game played for maybe 2 months on something above the casual level and fizzled out after the ORBIT 2004 Christmas tournament. The only one that plays it regularly is Kin and apparently Brett. Kin lobbied for the game going so far as to make a trailer for it. So fine, I hand them the 5 on 5 for that game and we basically suck it up knowing we’ll get killed. Then T6 comes and matters get even worse when Kin is the only person to actually enter the singles tournament. Oh yeah, that bears really well for our teams hopes. So Sunday comes around, we’re already extremely far behind and we’ve got a decision to make. Kin came to me on Sunday and asked about the game. We were just about to start CvS2 and still had a legit shot to take this thing without CFJ (we all knew that Canada was winning 3S) so I told Kin we don’t have the time for it. When word got back to TFGM and I was confronted with it (this is already around 9:30 - 10:00pm), I told him that if we have a tie at the end we would concede CFJ. I mean seriously people, look at the circumstances.

  • We don’t play the game
  • Our representatives wouldn’t even go so far as to enter the singles
  • Their team is comprised of people good enough to enter SBO
  • We had two 5 on 5’s that people actually cared about and it was almost 10:00pm

It’s all good to say “oh I wanted to play” but the logistics just don’t add up. If TFGM wants to claim victory over a conceded game that we didn’t want to begin with by all means do so but this matter really should be put to bed. We didn’t care about CFJ then, we don’t care about it now and if ORBIT got rid of it tomorrow no one would give a damn.

haha I wanted to play CFE, but it was getting late and I was getting orbit sickness :badboy:

WTF? can these results be anymore wrong??? who are these guys on the 3s team results???

Justin, I need the footage for the rest of the 5 on 5’s. I have an inspiration…
