My post wasn’t a troll. It’s pretty unusual for people to come out and just do shit for free considering how much time/money goes into building a proper stream as well as the miles/kilometers of travelling not to another city but to a whole other country. In which case we need more people like Sp00ky. Everyone should take from this example. Also, i’d be very interested in working with Sp00ky so maybe we can level up the Canadian streams also.

I messaged spooky on IRC yesterday asking if he could give random shout outs about this tourney on their stream since they stream all the time. He said he’d do it for sure then was interested in being involved with the stream.
So to turn him down for no reason is retarded.
To think he was doing this for a profit is even more retarded.
Seems like Russel should change his title to the “Tourney Nazi”. I seriously have no faith that you know what you’re doing.
If Team Spooky were to come down, and graciously do it for free I’m sure a few of us will take care of them.

Sorry to start up any arguments in the thread. I’m going to apply for my passport tomorrow once I know that is under control and there are no problems I will work on seeing how I can get out there. Toronto peeps have come as far as maryland on greyhound before so I don’t think it’ll be a problem for me to get out there by bus with Arturo.
I’m not asking for any money to do the stream all I ask is the possibility of having my expenses covered.
Haha Sp00ky no problem, i’m sure all of us will make a collaborated effort to look after you if you make it up. I’m not sure how long a US Passport takes to turn over but you’re cutting it close if it’s anything close to Canadian turn over times for a passport.
I don’t think its unreasonable to believe that they would want to do it for profit. In fact I would go as far to think as it would be silly not to b/c of their popularity.
I remember a few months ago when the stream was first getting big that they were running it off donations and were saying that it was their full time job for a bit. If that were the case, then I wouldn’t be surprised if they did end up charging some sort of fee. But since it’s clear that they don’t, then we should do our best to make sure it does go down.
I think Russell did a good job in at least messaging spooky first instead of just agreeing and saying that they could, rather than to just say yes and then possibly get hit with fees after. Vince hasn’t done bad work with streams with production and quality, its just the commentary that was soft.
So hopefully this does happen and I will help pay for spooky to come down if he is still interested.

Scummy: Thanks, i am kind of a nazi when it comes to organization. Feel free to step up and run T11 though since you find something wrong with my methods. This goes to everyone who thinks the same actually.
You guys know what I think, people would just find anything to argue with me in this thread. Usually just takes 1 person who thinks they have authority to stir up 2 new pages in a few hours. That’s cool, the thread is alive and kicking. Comments like Scummy’s do not get to me so don’t even bother. I’ve dealt with many type of Keyboard masters over the course of 10 years so i’m used to it. The thing that’s sad is that you wouldn’t say that straight to my face. If you do, i’d talk to you about it rationally and not behind a monitor. That’s what makes it funny for me. Keep the negatives coming cause all I can do is turn it into a positive.
Regarding Food for the Event
Vaughn is cooking some deals with the restaurants near the venue. So expect some coupons to save money.
