T.hawk!!! Yes!!!

Check out the body splash move at about 2:58 [media=youtube]qR2AMhrYoNc&feature=player_embedded[/media] . Looks like a pretty sweet cross up like giefs splash to me. Dive will be a punish to people doing stupid shit and you wont be able to spam it. it hits for knock down. T hawks going to be all about wake up mix up games just like gief. We will need to see what his combos to knock down are like.

Ofcourse.But it hasn’t the same recovery properties like Rufus Dive kick or (better) Cammy’s Cannon strike.Rufus dive kick isn’t a good example because its not a special move but Cammy’s is.
T.Hawk will always -after Dive- go back and down in block.
So it will punished no matter what.

Oh you misunderstood me.I didn’t said that Dive is a useless move.
It’s very unsafe.More than greenhand.At list greenhand hits more fast and comes very tricky while Dive must jump to the air so its more predictible.
Ofcourse Dive has more range than Greenhand but from what i ve seen it hasn’t the same range as Turbo’s or HD’s.I think Condor Spire is the replacement to Condor Dive so thats why i said before in a previous post that now T.Hawk’s gameplay is going to change.A lot.

I don’t think that it will be a broken move if it is more safe or completely safe.
Other than that T.Hawk and Balrog are the only characters that they don’t have FADC to their shoryukens.Guile has in Flash kick while all the other characters with shoryuken also.
Balrog is just an example.
T.Hawk must have something more than only Condor Spire.
If not safe Condor Dive then a shoryuken FADC.
IF not Shoryuken FADC then a safe Condor Dive.
Neither of them i see him a very medium to low character.:sad:
As a conclusion Capcom has a lot of choices and tools to give to the character.
Its not the unsafe Condor Dive, it’s not that he hasn’t shoryuken FADC its not that Command throw doesn’t have the same damage as Gief’s throw.It’s ALL together.
The only things i see good its some decent health, Condor Spire if its completely safe (ofcourse) and his poking game which is decent to very good.
That makes a mid character.(not solid mid but mid)
I think one of the other things i mentioned before must include to his gameplay.

Anyone who is keeping up with Hawk know his supposed stamina rating? I would really like to know.

I feel that Hawk will use the dive more to get in than to hit with. It seemed fairly safe on Whiff.

I’m surprised there wasn’t a single Condor Spire attack in that video.

Hopefully, a blocked hawk dive won’t have more than a few grounded recovery frames, which would make the counter-threat smaller.

and consider tha fact that Zangief and maybe Rufus has less staminas, T.Hawk must be the best stamina in SSFIV.

Yeah, my french does suck. That’s the best I could do - hopefully someone else can do better.

EX Spire sems to be real beasty, faster than normal spire (You can cancel it from s.MK), Armor break, it goes through projectiles, and you can add EX Tomahawk and EX Dive afterwards for massive damage.

Calling that Hawk will be able to OS tick 360/anti air ultra if you jump out

Some said that T.Hawk has 1200 stamina instead of 1150.Which is it we dont know for now.

-This is the character Ive played the most so Ill have a lot to say.
-New move: Condor Spire [reverse DP + P]
Probably his best move, EX goes through fireballs and you can juggle after it if you use it as an anti-air (good for option selects). Its motion is a big handicap though as it is quite a challenge to pull it out while walking forward which will often register as a THbuster (DP+P). Hurray, shortcuts! Gotta be really precise with the inputs if you dont want to get screwed over
-He has 1200 hp, hes the character with the most HP In the game.
-His tick throws are monstrous. With three 360 command grab variations, the stronger the punch the farther your opponent his sent and the harder it is to mix him up afterwards on wake up. His EX 360 has the same properties as HP 360 while sending your opponent at the MP 360 distance. Insane range on those grabs is expected, and just like Giefs, he can also grab limbs.
-He does not have a short jump.
-He has good normals, he can zone well.
-His Dragon Punch isnt really that good though, it doesnt reach as far as youd expect it to.
-His U2 is too good as an anti-air. Reallllyyy efficient, and totally scares your opponents into jumping on you (not as bad as Hakan though )
-I honestly really like T.Hawk though I do envision some bad Match-ups. He builds up super really fast, hurts like a truck and takes hits like a tank. Definitely a solid pick.
-Here are the challenges to give you an idea of his combo capabilities:

Condor Spire is completely safe and like Doopliss said before the EX can goes throw projectiles and can connect to other setups.
Also if you see his combos and the links above you ll see interesting stuff.Like a mid to mid.
Or some pokes chained to his Dp or Rdp.
And if everything is true about his tick command throw then the possibilities for mix ups are endless.

T. hawk is my new man, plus im 15% native american so it works out well.

has anyone done any testing to see if he has any Kara’able specials yet? Geif could kara Green hand in the last one which was the shit, hopefully t. hawk will get a kara 360 just to make him the first grappler to be god tier.

Whoa, wait, Vega not improved? He got a reworked Ultra 1 that hits on the way up now…and RCF startup is faster. Plus, I’m pretty sure it was said his wall dive is faster. I don’t think those are very minimal…RCF change alone makes him not bottom tier.

Anyway, I don’t think Hawk will have a good enough kara. As far as I recall, he doesn’t have any normals that move him forward. Doesn’t matter, though…from the looks of it, his jab 360 is probably the best 360 grab in the game IMO. It keeps you TOO close, lol, and looks to have around the same range as Gief’s jab 360.

That is correct.Since Turbo T.Hawk never had normal moves with mobility like Zangief.
That is the same here.But it’s not a problem.With Special moves T.Hawk can move better from Zangief.Also his poking game is very good in almost every range.

Yes but only the one with Lp and his EX.The other send you away.But i guess Condor Dive & Spire will help to close the distance.
The fact and the most important is that T.Hawk may posses better tick->command throw than Zangief.
I smell Turbo’s situations of grabbing with option select.Not the same of course but pretty close to the old one.

I think the range is better.
Now we have to see his frames and of course the damage.
I think that Gief’s is a little more damaging but i don’t care about that.
If T.Hawk has the same frames with Gief’s command throw and with all the other stuff that i wrote before then his command grab it will be far more better and dangerous.
