Yeah, SPD is a blanket term for any 360 motion command grabs; same with DP, which has come to describe any anti-air special that travels in an upward trajectory with invincible start up. DP is a phrase common to all 2D fighters, SPD less so.

This channel has a lot of footage of really smart T. Hawk play. Search for Alucard. He uses Raging Slash to full effect.
Yeh alucard from detroit. I played him numerous time in tourneys. Sick rushdown boxer. He’s the same Antwan Ortiz who was at the gamestop national tourney. He was gonna pick up Dudley cuz he played him in 3S. but apparently according to him, dudley sucks and yeh his Thawk is nice.

The tourney I was at yesterday. Got the top 8 tomorrow to do. Dunno if I’m sticking with T Hawk or going back to Gief yet. My T Hawk is pretty trashy right now. I’m just applying my gief throw tactics to T Hawks game pretty much. I kept fucking up in the balrog match, it was pretty funny. And yes, I was mashing uppercut at the end of the gief match lol

I’ve been wondering can players see what character you pick in versus mode in this version? I always dislike that in SF4 online. People would wait till I selected first so that they could counterpick >.<
Is there an option at least for this? Anyone know?

Damn, that’s some solid Hawk play. Cross-under spire into fierce SPD is nuts. Splash beat out EX SBK!? Crazy priority. Guile is going to be a pain… The Zangief match looks fun.

also yeah nice T.Hawk vids. I think you should get used to using his HK poke (at least I think thats the HK one don’t have the game yet) I think it would of gotten the other player a bit more or scared them into jumping
