Any group that does not agree with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a hinder to democracy and the well being of a nation’s people and therefore should be treated as such.

For the sake of intellectual honesty, we should note that there is such a thing as abuse of free speech (although it is more correct to refer to it as unprotected speech). The most common example is falsely yelling fire in a crowded building. It is deceptive and it directly endangers others. A burning cross is another example that has been ruled as unprotected speech because it falls under intimidation and is roughly the equivalent of a threat to violence, which is ironically what the Muslims in the story were engaging in.
However, when DHEvil claims an abuse of free speech, it doesn’t seem to fall under the definition described above. Instead, he seems to be saying there is speech I like and speech I don’t like. The former should be allowed, while the latter should not.
Now you know those aren’t the same thing. Societal denial of a heliocentric system would be damaging to the progress of that society. Drawing Mohammed is just a dick move. The only thing that could come out of it is harm. So why do it unless you are a giant penis?
This act is harmful to the faith and to the people of the faith. We are getting some bad rap these days and, believe me, we get as much hate as we give. We don’t need more of it, and especially not in this way.
