this game is not anymore about skill is about the character u select
Select other characters you like to play, and dont get mad. This game is very funny if you dont take too serious.

Literally at least half the cast has infinites and unblockables so talking about getting rekt by any given character is almost a given lol hell I’ve been rekt by GDLK Earthquakes back in the XBL days lol, it always amused me how everyone thought Zero and Geese were by far the most OP, but anyone who’s spent time with this game knows that really isn’t true.
I forget who has the highest damage output and dizzy AFAIK it was Blood Riot Iori?
Haven’t played this game in years, but have sadly spent hundreds of hours playing it on XBL even managed to get #1 rank online for a while being one of the only people who didn’t main Shin Akuma haha he was so fucking annoying what idiot thought giving him infinite super meter was a good idea. I remember when I started thinking how good Violent Ken was until I got rekt by Geese p,ayers, then I realized the power of Tessa, and so on and so fourth, I really enjoyed the silliness of the game and the neutral game is really weird you almost wait for the other the guy to attack lol, never did get used to the 4 button layout though.
Evil Mr. Karate always gave me the most trouble, and Zerp was scary sure but mostly because he might be the best timer scam character ever lol, I’d be down to p,ay on fightcade sometime though don’t expect much lol I’m sure I’m rusty as fuck.
The thing is I do like the game. This was my first time fighting really strong guys. However I can see my faults in this game and realize why I lost. My execution in this game is very poor so whenever had openings I never optimized and I have a hard time guard canceling. I think I can do better now that I know what I’m up against.
Tell me your fightcade id, so we can play and i can give u some advices
Also i suggest you to check this page: http://wiki.shoryuken.com/SvC_Chaos:_SNK_Vs_Capcom
This help me a lot when i was a beginner
I’m ultros.
Well I had more time to play with the game and I think I narrowed down my faults. First off I play far too honest which in a game like SVC is basically just a big “WTF are you doing.” SVC is a game of bugs and exploits and gimmicks and how best to utilize said features. It’s less about who has the best neutrel game or who plays the most fundamentally sound and more about who can just cheese their way to victory. I have to learn the intricate details of the engine to advance further. As it stands I can compete well in the sense that I can avoid getting perfected and completely destroyed per round, but without doing all the general BS SVC affords you I’m limiting my potential.
Alright so how many people here would be interested in doing weekly casuals. I’m improving a lot I was able to lead KN.9999 in our set last time. I’m still free to Artur and age but I think I’m getting the hang of the system a bit better.
I was thinking we could do weekly casuals and maybe if enough interest builds do tournaments.
I’m mading the SVC Chaos Wiki nowadays along with another pal
I’ve been playing some random games on Fightcade recently and I’m a little bit curious about SVC. I’m surprised there was an actual thread but I’m glad since it will make matchmaking and asking questions easier.
If anyone wants any matches let me know I’m still learning but I’d like to give this game a chance.
RIP OP.
SVC Chaos is a game that is, hmm. How should I put this? Some people call it bad, a lot actually. I won’t disagree with them, but I do not think so. I just think it’s a game loaded with bad design choices that I still sort of enjoy. I also wish Capcom would used more of the Megaman Zero series version of Zero rather than X and at least SVC Chaos did that. Maybe a broken Zero yes, but I think his sprite is pretty.
Also it is sad that game was the last appearance of Tessa.
Here’s my idea for SVC Chaos 2:
SNK: Kyo, Iori, Mai, Earthquake, Terry, Ryo, Shiki, Choi, Mr. Karate, Kasumi, Kim, Genjuro, Leona, Joe, Robert, Haohmaru, Marco Rossi, Kaede, Goenitz, Geese, Mars People, Orochi Iori, Shin Mr. Karate, Goddess Athena
CAPCOM: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Hugo, Guile, Tessa, Akuma, Dhalsim, Vega, Balrog, Sagat, M. Bison, Retsu, Cammy, Sakura, Ibuki, Crimson Viper, Jon Talbain, Dan, Demitri, Mega Man Zero, Violent Ken, Shin Akuma, Red Arremer
Edit: Nvm, prob solved.
Hey so I’ve been playing this game online on fightcade and wanna know if anyon down here would like some games from time to time.
In spite of its flaws I still do enjoy this game quite a bit. It’s a shame there isn’t a fan-made update eBay could address some of the glaring flaws of svc.

"In spite of its flaws I still do enjoy this game"
That is SvC Chaos in a nutshell.

Ha very true.
The game is surprisingly active on fightcade too. It might not quite match the numbers of the popular games but it has a respectable showing. The good thing about the fightcade community is that some of the dudes who are regularly on are really strong so it makes it much easier to level up after awhile.

That is impressive.
