SVC Chaos

Redpaku4 is one of the best players (with Age) of svc chaos fightcade.

I loved to play that game but almost 50% players use geese, anyways

Who are the best characters in the game?
For me geese, zero, chunli, o.iori were the best

I think geese and zero are generally considered the best characters.

I haven’t played too many geese players but zero is just loaded with options.

I main Dan to a extent and it’s always funny to fight these top tiers with him.

I main dan too, yeah he is very funny to use. And he doesn’t suffer against zero.

Everyone (except choi) is viable to compete on this game.

Ps: very nice goetniz bodler as always

Since there isn’t a lot of SVC guys here I think we should post our IDs on Fightcade and who we use.

I used to play SvC a lot back in college and I loved the game, had a lot of cool characters from capcom side plus violent ken. would love to play again but Ive never heard of Fightcade

Redpaku is my homie. Played a lot of SF4 and SNK games with him. Best Geese/Terry I ever did fight and his Akuma/shotos aren’t that far behind either.

The funny thing is, there are stronger SNK game players from here in the Philippines (our Chun-Lis/Demitris/Tessas in particular and I think there are at least two who were equal to Redpaku in terms of being strong with Geese), but sadly they were bit by the MOBA bug because that’s where the big bucks are

SvC runs around geese/zer0/o.iori.

Low tier SvC might be kinda hype.

Thanks NightmareGeese

Redpaku told me himself that several are better than him in Phillipines, I was very surprised when he said that, but I figured there is no way he could of reached that level of play by playing people of Fightcade level only. He also told me that for some reason all the gay players in Phillipines are very strong…

By the way his regular iori is amazing to, gave me ALOT of problems.

My Fightcade ID is the same as my handle here. As of currently, I’m currently dabbling around with Boxer and Tessa.

Now I really wanna fight this dude. I’ve leveled up a lot since picking up this game a few weeks ago and I think I would learn a lot from him if we fought. The thing I’m lacking from my game right now is my execution. I can’t reliably dash from block stun as well as I should and I can’t super confirm/combo/max combo reliably.

I fought against n.k9999 and that was a very fun set. His combos are really good and his execution is amazing.

Combos always require work, but dashing from block stun is mandatory, and it cost very little bar.

If the opponent is not at a level where he can punish / bait your block stun dashes or expect it at least, you can literally do it almost every time you are getting pressured, as long as you know when the opponent wants to hit you, just do it.

Of course it’s not that easy if the opponent responds by mixing up their attack pattern and in those cases you don’t have to force yourself to try to find a place to blockstun dash, but it’s a mechanic that rewards players that can have a basic read on their opponents.

Redpaku is the strongest o.iori i had fighted in fightcade

And yeah he said the same thing to me about that players, MOBA money to strong

K.9999 is one of the best players of japan (with YAMAZAKI2002)

You should post some of your matches here dude and we can help you.

Is that a double post I see? Those don’t go well with me.

Oh really damn I had no idea. Although I guess I’m not surprised he was doing max combos so easily. It was a really good set we went back and forth and used a good variety of characters. I don’t know how to upload from Fightcade but if I did I wouldn’t mind uploading some matches.

Most of us have fightcade, just post the replay number here.

Well I just got brutally and savagely raped by both Artur and age.

Damn I was making progress but I couldn’t even touch those guys outside a few rounds. I thought I could get good at this game but it seems it’s not going anywhere now. I do still like SVC but yeah getting fucked that hard made me realize I have no business playing this game.

Lots of gay guys in our locality. Basically a good chunk of the old KOF 2000/KOF 2002 players played SvCC as well. There were even mall tournaments in 2003-2005 but sadly no footage. Sadly the said guys and gays moved on to DOTA around 2007-08ish, when that genre was starting to pick up steam. I wish redpaku would teach them to use GGPO/Fightcade at least

Some old vids in the last few pages of the original thread (page 3 til the end)

@ReoGeoSRK Do you know that Age has been playing this game for decades and probably has the most hours stocked into this game than anyone else? I remember Age already being good in the game waaay back when I first came into the online scene with Kaillera. And Artur has soo many fightcade hours into the game it’s almost sad, it’s their main games for both of these guys. These are the type of guys that actively try to break the game ( discover things with all the characters in training mode, things like that ). They have a real passion for the game.

You can’t just come up and start beating up those guys or even do “ok” unless your fundamentals are good enough so that you don’t get totally demolished at least… but if losing badly will cause you to quit, you never truly enjoyed the game anyway, and if that’s the case then you might as well quit because SvC falls into the category of a “bad” fighting game to me anyway lol.

A game that makes you want to quit if you get beat badly is not a game you truly like, maybe you like it to some extent, but if your enjoyment comes too much from winning or seeing apparent progress, rather than “playing it”. This will only make you miserable because everyone will always find that someone who can make them look like total beginners, you will never win to your hearts content.

If you still want to play a game you don’t really like, then you have to find a way to still play your best while not caring about the outcome, which is hard to do because you have to learn how you can kill your ego while still playing as if you want to win ( without caring rather you win or lose ). Once you are able to do this, you can enjoy almost any fighting game and play at your best potential even if you don’t even like the game, because then the enjoyment will come from from seeing how well you can push yourself mentally, which is a thing fighting games can help you do.

I pretty much quit caring about SvC Chaos after being man handled by Geese loops all day.

But I’ll never forget SvC Chaos for bringing back my waifu Shiki, and also having one of my favorite versions of Ryo… love all the autoguard he has in this game. Terry in SvC Chaos is also probably one of my favorite versions of him, although he’s still no '97 Terry.

I remember AcidGlow playing this game alot (Along with Art Of Fighting 2), but he’d also pick Shin Akuma and Serious Mr.Karate and ffffuuuu I dun want none of that shit.
