Suzo Inductive Joystick?

you see damaged Suzo?
if high voltage >+5,5V will not burn him, these joystick is immortal.
it on box writes “Suzo is joystick forever” and this is truth. 15 year - old joystik work, if they be used correctly.

I have new and old P360. new I have over 3 years. Included on PC 12/24h, but I have exact +5V . P360 dies on MassSystem Stick and Custom AS because they PCB only get +3,3 V.

Soo, what do these stick feel like?

Are they any good for fighters?

I see a lot of potential with these pcb’s making their way into sanwa’s or semitsus.

Ehh, i can dream lol.

havent had the time to use the sticks yet because my pcb commited suicide. i’m curious to know how these sticks work with 360 motions.

got the suzo to work but it seems to be always on contact, meaning its holding all four directions at the same time.

i pulled out all the direction wires and put one back in but it seems to be holding that direction. for instance, i wont stop jumping if i connect the wire for up. initially i thought it was the pots that had to be realigned but none of them work.

it might have something to do with the earth wire because for some reason i cant power the suzo with the earth wire for more than 30secs so i tend to leave it out.

hi I check it
it is lost power, without +5V suzo hold all directions.

what do you mean? if it wasnt being powered i thought nothing would happen.

i used the 5v lead on the cps2 pcb and a 4aa baterry pack, either way the same thing happened, with or without the earth wire.

Anyone know where to score some of these now? TNT seems to be sold out sadly and I’d like somewhere cheaper than groovy.

on my IPAC
wired directions + GND, without +5V- all directions is active
wired directions + (+5V), without GND- all directions dont work
wired directions + (+5V) + GND - all work OK

something is connected bad or your joystick

if you use battery pole “+” connect to +5V on stick
and pole “-” connect to GND

ok. i was putting both in the 5v slot but for me it was holding all directions without the gnd.

i’ll try it again tomorrow.

Hey man, I got a bunch of extras (new). $25 shipped. PM me if you want one.

this was one should connect together. GND from PCB and “-” from battery–>GND joystick

i know what the problem is, i’m not getting the 5v’s. the battery pack doesnt even work properly.

just to clarify i’m putting the suzo’s in an arcade cab. i’m not wiring a stick so i guess getting an ipac is out of the question.

Sorry to necro this thread, but I’m dying to know if anyone knows how old the Suzo sticks are – did they exist in the 90s?

80
it is very old stick

Thanks kowal.
Have some guys who were in the Dublin (Ireland) arcade scene between SF2/Alpha/III and they distinctly remember the sticks being “ball-top, kinda octo-gate, all-plastic covered.” So I’m now guessing that they might’ve been playing on Suzos.

Now – can you fit one inside a TE?

no
on HRAP fit
