Suzo Inductive Joystick?

i got 2 of these about 3 weeks ago. But I haven’t had a chance to test them though. Maybe in 2 weeks after I build a new box later today. It has a good feel to it. I just dont like the stick shaft itself.

Perfect, thanks much.

From what I’m seeing I dont think there’s anyway to make a JLF version of it. The area needed for the little antenna pads, the spirals, is just too large to fit. I still think its a neat idea though. Using the potentiometers for adjusting the sensitivity on each side is a pretty good idea. I wonder if I could use that in the flash replacement.

Much appreciated, I always love seeing new stuff like this.

U360 use Hall efect (digital&analog), programable 81 cell (diagonals, engage)
base is JLW (euro version) - 2 restrictors square, circle

has only one defect - slow centring to center, dash is hard
I must buy japan JLW (shorter shaft), I think centring is better

can somone tell me the height of this suzo stick from the top base to the top of the stick.

similar how Universal STC

thanks but i thought that was a different suzo stick… i saw that pic on some dutch site last night.

88mm is pretty long. do suzo make smaller sticks?

ver. 32mm balltop is lower about 4mm :]

it is 38mm ver. wood 4mm+metal panel 1,5mm. I added washer (from KC-04)

so where can i get the smaller version?

in suzo

part ID 29-0208-2

when i said length i didnt mean the ball top. i meant the base of the stick to the top of ball. the length isnt stated in that catalogue.

is this supposed to be the smaller version?

base of the stick to the top of ball
ver 38mm 89mm
ver 32mm 77mm

ok, thanks.

different angles or the same stick? I cant tell.

the one on the left looks like an stc and the other one’s the inductive, or am i wrong?

I guess I might just drop $20 and see how it works. But if anybody has measurements of how deep the stick is from base to bottom, or if it will work on 3.3v, I’d love to know.

EDIT: Actually, now that I did some quick calculations, it appears the “guts” of the inductive stick are 2.5" deep. That’s really big - deeper than a Comp. Guess it’s a no go for me.

I Meassured mine today and base to bottton is about 5 cm or around 2", i meassure from base, not the “round ridge”

One thing that is good is that you don’t need to add any clearence for stickmovment

Edit: it shall be used with around 5V, so 3.3 is a no good
Im gonna build one or two metal top stick with those suzo’s, im really considering to get some custom shorter balltop shafts for them

how the hell do you mount this? and take it apart? I have one but I can’t remove anything. I tried to remove magnet but won’t come out.
