Survivor: South Pacific

Didn’t she said she’s from a town of like 1500 or something ridiculously small?
She probably competed against like 50 people max, but the point is bitch is ugly as fuck. (And no I am not one of those guy that thinks every chick that isn’t a 10 is ugly.)

I’m with Rcaido on this one.

She’s not the prettiest thing ever by any means, but she’s no Shambo, or Denise. And she probably has higher standards than Krista and Stephanie V from Redemption Island, lol.

Shambo wasn’t that ugly compared to Sophie but yeah Denise the lunch lady was pretty awful, but she wasn’t arrogant like Sophie…Which make here even uglier…Not to mention she acted a bit spoiled,i can barely take that from pretty girls, what more from ugly ones…

Also i have HD & her hairy pits & hairy lips were really bothering me…Its like she was the father of George the Animal Steele…I bet she smell bad too.

Ah, the internetz, where people ignore the “drink until the 6 is an 8” rule, and think they have shots with 9s and 10s that are models.

I second what rcaido said. Shambo is leagues ahead of Sophie. Plus Shambo didn’t have that nasty mustache/upper lip hair that was visible. If you’re gonna be on national TV, get that waxed please.

oh cool another girl who did nothing the entire game wins out of jury spite

what is that now 7 of the last 8 that went that way

Oh lord not ANOTHER one of these. I REALLY get tired of these trolls. The ONLY winner that didn’t really deserve to win was Bob, and that was just because Randy immediately regretted his vote right after. Last time I checked, Bob, Fabio, JT, and Rob weren’t girls, and Parvati was universally thought to have played an awesome game in Fans vs Favourites. Natalie was smart enough to know that Russell couldn’t play the game and would get EVERYBODY to hate him while she built social bonds in a game that’s described by Probst himself as a “social experiment”, Sandra was in no way a bad winner as she knew exactly what she was doing from having you know, won before. Plus, Sophie was in control of a number of things on the tribe, was a lot of people within the 5’s link to each other, got to know the Savaii on a level that didn’t seem like pointless pandering like Albert did, sabotages Albert’s game by stopping him from making the moves he wanted to, and wrecked Coach by encouraging him to vote out FOUR of his goats in Cochran, Rick, Brandon, and Edna.

The only people Amanda, Sugar, Stephen, Russell, Mick, Parvati, Sash, Chase, Phillip, Natalie T, Coach, and Albert have to blame for their losses are themselves and people really should stop trying to make excuses for them. Being “oh my God, look at me and how strategic I’m being by making alliances and blindsiding everyone!!” about things does not make for a good Survivor player.

I thought Bob’s win was well deserved.

Sandra’s second win? Not so much. She rode major coat tail in that one. Just my opinion though.

Ummm…Bob rode more coattails than Sandra ever did. By the time the Final 10 came around, Bob would’ve been voted out 5th in his alliance. Hell, Randy came in and pretty much took his spot. He was last in his alliance, was fine with it, and rode Corinne and Sugar’s coattails without wanting to do anything about it. They even asked him what he did in the jury questions and he openly said “I did nothing”. I think it’s a bit of a double standard there.

I dunno, it just bugs me when people get salty over someone losing the jury vote. I mean, when you lose a match in Marvel of SF, you don’t say you lost because the other person had port priority, or the stage made the game lag, or the TV made you have input lag or whatever. Like to me, Johns are Johns and making excuses or saying the jury voted the wrong person is no different than making excuses for losing a round, or for a team making excuses they lost an NHL playoff game, etc.

Every time they cut to Russell’s face on the reunion show, I would laugh hard! The disappointment look on his face was god tier.

yeah but he also looked like the cockiest SOB ever to play the game of Survivor. Every word he spoke made Brandon look like he was about to tear up

Russell had no end game, but Survivor hasn’t been the same since that first season he was there.

Fabio and Bob are the only winners in the history of the show that I would outright say didn’t deserve to win.

Bob, because he was absolutely fine being last in his alliance…And because in literally any other season, he’d have been voted out at the F4. It’s just that Sugar was never playing to win and decided that she wanted Bob to win over Matty. I like Bob, but Sugar is the only player in the history of the game who would let that happen, and Bob was just lucky that she was there.

Fabio was just really really lucky. He happened to be in an alliance with someone who was a better strategist, social player, and physical player than him in Benry. Had Benry not been the biggest remaining threat, Fabio would have been blindsided in his place. Hell, if not for the fact that almost every player on the jury wanted Benry to win (Marty, Brenda, Purple Kelly, and NaOnka were all pulling for him at that stage), he probably would have been spared over Fabio, gone on the same immunity run as Fabio, and won.

Edna and Cochran said it best when they stated that this game is about “duping” and playing the trickery game and coach played that right. He didn’t get the jury votes due to saltiness of being backstabbed.

This game has turned into a “stay under the radar and follow the leader” game until the merge. Boston Rob backstabbed a bunch but in the end, he won because the jury knew they got played and voted for the right person that played them.

This speech applies to Coach as well

I step away and come back to see that Livewire is still annoying as fuck. If you say IMO or something along that then I’d respect what you say but you’re still as much a troll as the people you call one. You’re easily duped by producer edits and make up positive excuses for real sad facts about what really went down. There are salty jurors in this game.

I’m outta here again til next season, see ya and stay salty.

That doesn’t REALLY apply to Coach. I mean, if you go back and watch RI, Rob had charisma and people generally liked and respected him despite that. People didn’t like or respect Coach and he got blasted a LOT worse than we were shown.

I’m not one to be easily duped by Producer Edits at all as I typically tend to watch Insider Clips (hell, I used to transcribe the Voting comments when they were available), read some interviews, and as I said earlier, I used to listen to some of the “Rob has a podcast” stuff that Rob Cesternino has up. I’ve been watching this thing since the beginning so if you think I’m just being fooled by what the editors put out there, then you’re sadly mistaken.

You know what? Yeah, there are salty jurors, but that’s part of the freaking game and if people don’t adjust their game to deal with that, then it’s their own damn fault. Russell hasn’t ‘changed Survivor’ because the same basic concept, way a jury works, and principles behind how you win are there. All Russell did was usher in a new era of fans that don’t understand how the game works and think that if you make big moves you instantly deserve to win, without understanding the mentality behind it or other things.

I also pretty much agree with everything that Dotsdfe said in his last post, though I think that Fabio did deserve to win over Chase and Sash. Granted, the Benry comparison is most likely quite true.

Pretty much. It’s like people complaining that SF sucks because the guy who turtled in the corner dragon punching just beat the guy who hits flashy 30 hit combos.

PS what does everyone think of my Christine avatar? I love it, Christine was amazing.

Christine was pretty good and likable, but at the end of the day she wasn’t really that great of a player. It was nice to see more than one person dominate RI in a season though.

She wasn’t the best player, no, but I loved her attitude. A lot of people really overstate how much her game sucked, too. The “temporary player” thing was something that everyone agreed to on the beach on day 1, it’s just that everyone else backed out and sucked up to Coach later on. Christine was the one to vocalize what the group thought (still a bad decision, but not as horrible as people said) and Coach targeted her early on for that. Either way, I’d love to see Christine back again, she was awesome.

Yeah, I know what you mean, and also:

Spoiler

Rumours about S25 are going to be popping up all over until the end of February I’m sure, but apparently on top of Savage, Andrea’s been confirmed back, and Billy Garcia was originally confirmed for the season when S24 was supposed to be it, so apparently he’ll likely be back too.
