Fudd has the bracket but I believe it was 40 or so. Some others wanted to enter but this was a high rollers tournament so the entry fee was pretty steep for more casual players.

We got good feedback from the players there so it was great to see that so many people had a good time. And it was great seeing so many old friends again and meeting new faces.
Nice to see you guys are supporting this without you, this ST tourney wouldn’t be possible, congrats to top 8, maybe next year we will have more familiar names to this amazing ST tourney.
If by more familiar names you meant there weren’t enough, top 12 was a straight up all star cast of killers and rapists. But yes, next year everyone better be there!
Yeah, this was amazing. Thank you to Papasi, DGV, Fudd, Damdai, Zenblaster, Art, Kuni and everyone who made a hand in putting this together, running it, and making it amazing. Being apart of a Street Fighter tournament like this was the dream. Can’t wait to see what we can do with EVO next year and hope to work with you guys to do some more crazy ST shit this October at SB
It was a miracle so many people showed up to this tourney despite the $40 entry fee which IMO was a great idea considering the payout as opposed to EVO paying out to HDR top3.

Rats, I wish I would have known about this (at least for watching the stream). It’s nice to see that someone put together a side tourney for ST. I still think that should ALWAYS be in the lineup for EVO.
Had a fucking blast in the tournament and playing casuals with everyone all weekend, many thanks to those that brought the setups. Did way better in the just for fun 8v8 team tournament the day before though lol
I didn’t make it out there, but just wanted to say good job guys. I’m going to have to see a cap of Damdai vs Daigo, because I would’ve put my money on Damdai winning
The tournament was a lot of fun and quite competitive due to all the players who were involved and participated in it. Had a blast just hanging out with everyone over the weekend. There’s so many shoutouts to give:

Eugene, it was great talking to you after the tourney on Sunday…hope you can make it out to the Socal ST events (i’ll keep you posted). Masaka, it was nice to finally meet you after playing you on HSF2 years ago. I could literally go on about all the great people I encountered (Grog, Zoolander, etc).
