You don’t want the latest kaillera client. You want the kailleraclient.dll from here: http://kaillera.movsq.net/
Overwrite your existing kailleraclient.dll with that one.

Little Mac recently make a change to the spreadsheet program we’re using to help run the event. When players are setting up a match, it now automatically generates the text string saying the players’ ratings and the handicaps. So it makes things easier and more accurate for us, and players can get going faster. This has increased the awesomeness quotient of running things by 43%.
It’s looking like we might get several new players tomorrow, which is great… the more, the merrier. If we have a bunch of new people waiting around to get preliminary ratings, we might slightly reduce the number of exhibition games Little Mac plays to rate people. We’d rather get people rated and going quickly with a reasonably-accurate ballpark figure than make them spend more time and trying be super accurate with an initial rating which can just change quickly anyway.
Remember to only pick opponents whose ratings are within 400 points of your own. It’s possible this could start to become more of an issue as we get more people and the spread of numbers widens a little.

Tonight was our busiest night yet! It looks like this is really starting to take off. Thanks to all those who are helping draw in new people, including djfrijoles, damdai, and brian. Welcome to all our new players, and thanks to the regulars who help explain to the new people how the process of setting up a match works.
–> IMPORTANT ISSUE <–
Next week is Super Bowl Sunday, and a lot of people go to parties or otherwise are busy on that day. So I’m concerned that we might have fewer people, and I only want to have the event if I think we have a good number of players. The last thing I want to have happen is to have poor turnout, causing people and especially the new players to think, “Well, this sucks, I guess nobody shows up for it” and lose interest in the league. I’d much rather just skip a week altogether than have a really down week that kills all our momentum. That said, we’re perfectly happy and prepared to have another week of Super Sundays like usual.
If you’re a regular player but you don’t think or aren’t sure if you’re going to be busy that day, please let me know, either with a quick post here in the thread or a PM. We haven’t decided if we’re skipping next week yet, and we want to hear what people are planning on doing. I’ll try to make my decision by the middle of this week or so.

shoot me a good games post and I still have the same respect for you as my response to that good games shout out.

Dont get it wrong though because its never boring when playing a lesser ranked fighter because you have to be on your toes with some crazy odds against you.

Don’t think I’m going to play this week. Some of my friends are having Super Bowl Parties, and I won’t be home to play. However next week im all on board for kickin some ass. :cybot: or getting my ass kicked…whatever comes first. :wonder:
i wont be able to come back next sunday afterall. my roommates and i are going to be hosting a super bowl party.
Thanks to everyone who responded quickly. It looks like we’re gonna have a number of busy people, so we’re gonna skip this next Sunday (Feb. 3rd) for Super Sundays.
We’re gonna come back strooong the week after, though, on Feb. 10th. We may be having our first side event on that week – details to be decided and announced later.

I’ll talk more about the details later in the week. For now, just be aware that we’re starting the event at 9 Eastern / 6 Pacific sharp, so plan to be a little bit early.
The reason I’m letting you guys know this now is so you have a little time to start arranging teammates. If you can’t find one by next week but still want to participate, you may be able to show up at game time and find someone else who’s also missing a teammate, but I highly encourage you to figure it out ahead of time if you can. If we have an odd number of people who want to be in it, Little Mac will be someone’s teammate.
