I love the remixed version of the SFIV theme from the new trailer, it’s awesome, especially at the bit with the T.Hawk Reveal, with the whole diddly keyboard element. It’s excellent.

Eh, musics gonna suck and be forgettable, just like vanilla sfiv.
It’s still thousands of times better than Indestructible.
For nostalgia, I hope they remix all the street fighter 2 themes.
But more importantly, I hope the remix them right! The most dissapointing example I can think of is Ken’s theme in SF4. It went from being a tough rock song to being this sissy sounding techno garbage. I’m not saying I don’t like techno. Sometimes it works good, but Ken needs to keep a tough rock sound. I also felt like Akuma’s theme for SF4 was lame compared to SF2. The guitar in the SF4 one sounds unimpressive, while the guitar sound in SF2 made him really seem tough.
I guess all that I’m sayin is that I hope they blend more styles of music in the next version. Too much techno in this one. Granted the techno sounds great for Rose and Cammy.
P.S. Please change Zangief’s theme. It literally sounds like a ringtone I would download on my phone. Way too minimalist.
P.P.S. Please allow character themes to be selectable for stages. It’s sad when I only get to here them when I’m fightin a rival or when they randomly pop up when I’m waitin to fight someone online.

The one thing everyone should agree on is selectable music. Goddamn, I hated that it was impossible to hear the best songs in SF IV apart from in Arcade mode or in the lobby.

If this game does add 3S and Alpha characters then hopefully we get theme/stage remixes for them a la SF4 did. Remixes of SF4 stage themes would be great too, along with brand new ones. To be honest I think game needs more breaks like 3S.

I, for one, still like Indestructible and I love the SF4 soundtrack. More classic remixes would always be welcome.
The only fair compromises is a Character Theme on they’re stage.
