If they screw up the soundtrack again i’m just going to buy the 3rd strike ost and save it to my harddrive…
Actually I think i’ll do that now.

Music is a very integral factor in the enjoyment/hypeness of a fighting game.
I’m hoping we get some hot, intense beats to keep your blood pumping during a match. Shit, I wanna be THIS CLOSE to having a heart attack while fighting. That’s just not gonna happen with the Africa level music from SF4 in the background.
Well, T. Hawk’s music is pretty much confirmed, and if it was actual gameplay from what they plan on it to be played in the game, then the Brazil stage has at least Hawk’s theme song playing.
I also prefer SFIII’s music over Third Strike’s, because they’re not just some housey tunes but memorable. “Leave Alone” is just too good.
Oh jeez, Pullum’s theme for Hakan plz (if he’s really true). <3
More like 3s please.
I just want character themes and character specific stages. Sagat’s stage would look bomb
The lack of Balrog’s theme saddens me though…
We just need more classy music over all. Volcano stage theme can stay… but some touching up couldn’t hurt.
Also, judging by Juri’s theme… the music doesn’t seem too be changing much
SF4’s music was def. lackin, only some stages had decent fitting fight music like the city highway stage, believe it or not that russia stage woulda worked fine for geif in 1992 sf2 if they decided to use it then,no stage specific character themes like ya said, or stages for characters for that matter but i think ur a little mixed up…ryu and makotos are the REALLY slow ones lol come on bro ur honestly gonna sit n tell me remy’s stage music is slow?! or elena’s?! or Hugo’s?! they sampled the original fuckin xmen cartoon show’s theme for Q’s theme and james bond for yun n yang’s stage for christ sake! if thats not badass i dunno what is lol, they did a damn good job on SF3 musically…kens chillness came out of the subway stage in SF3,the only reason i think ppl dont like it is cuz the rest of the cast isnt in it lol but SSF2 did have the best tunes hands down…well next to some of the alpha series and some of the vs SNK series
Link?
They should just do what guilty gear does and let you choose the music you want played as an option. Like, if you want’ the stage’s song, character you’re playing or random. I think that was the best system and doesn’t leave anyone out.
Like I said in the other music thread
it would would be pretty cool to have the music composers of the Alpha series, 3rd strike series, EX series, SF2 series get together and make something stupendous.
Sometimes you just have to be glad there’s a SFIV in the first place. Oh and be glad you can put your own soundtracks on top of the music.
I hear you man.
There are times when I’m playing a fighting game with sick music and even if I’m getting beat down, it’s still enjoyable because the music is so awesome. Getting your ass beat to a good soundtrack is never frustrating
Juri’s theme is amazing. It sounds like something Juno Reactor would put out. Totally evil and hard with the bass.

Listen at about 1:33 (preferably with speakers that handle bass well, or else you won’t hear much). Really suits her character, imo.

I have a friend who recorded the theme song to SSF4 at a loketest, it’s kinda bad quality, but you can hear it, another quality theme from Capcom.
this song is really catchy. glad capcom improved over indestructible.
Thousands of times better than Indestructible, at least.
That track was from the Street Fighter Tribute Album released about 6 years ago.
That actually sounds really good. A new favorite.
Actually it sounds like that track, but mixed so that the drum and bass is turned up. But yes, ti’s either we’ve been faked or they’re using songs from the tribute album.
