I don’t usually post bad games, simply because I get so many quitters and I can’t be bothered, but I felt especially inclined to send a big fuck you out to rocksil.
rocksil is a scrubby ass, turbo using Akuma who quit on me twice in ranked. I sent him a message, telling him what I think of turbo using Akuma players to who quit and set up a lobby, offering him some games on equal terms (no turbo), which he chickened out of, or more correctly, didn’t respond to.
If you want some free wins, hit this guy up. If you rape him, he is guaranteed to ragequit, giving you a free win. Unfortunately you have to deal with the turbo bullshit meaning it’s risky to pressure him (especially with Akuma’s invincible dragon punches). He’s forever throwing out random dragon punches, so he’s easy to bait and thow.
It got to the point where when I see his name pop up, I leave. Big waste of time with him, or any Akuma for that matter.
Guys, careful of going head to head with ragequitters and droppers. It could result in a loss for you - that’s if you care about your rank score.
i just got on here to say the same thing, just played a few matches and some dude with akuma rage quit in the 3rd round and it recorded it as a loss for me and dropped me from rank 3 to 5 (about like 80 points). Also something else thats weird, i check my rating/wins losses in between ranked quick matches just to see if its accurate and yesterday i won a match and i LOST about 100 ratings points. my record still showed 1 loss (at the time) but my rating dropped anyways. thats makes no sense and the ranking system is fucked up. just a heads up.
current record is 103-2 and ive only lost one match (due to cheating lag switch vega player)
also look out for MAG3X, makes classic rooms and rides a lag switch, and even when it says “Player left” it counts as a loss for you, hes found an actual way to cheat wins.
i mean xbox is corny as hell in the first place but DAMN that shit is ridiculous.
Everyone gets those phantom losses. It almost makes me not play in ranked as it can blow an hours work easily. I’ve gotten 2 of them this week.
Ranked is completely messed up, and can’t be taken as anything more then a “general ballpark” idea of how good somebody is. There are too many ragequitters, too many problems with how rank is calculated, and too many wierd issues with wins & losses that don’t register, or register incorrectly for it to be ever taken seriously. It’s only good for playing in if you don’t want to wait around in 6 player lobbies to get a game, cos you’re in a hurry or whatever.
Oh and to the guys that were complaining about akuma quitters in ranked: it’s been that way since day 1. Anybody who picks akuma in ranked does it because they regard him as being unbeatable, and they’re only going for a win, and couldn’t care less how they get it, and when they run into somebody that’s capable of beating them they’ll quit because they don’t want to take a loss.
My biggest issue with akuma is not the scrubs who pick him and quit when losing, it’s the mid to upper-mid level players who resort to picking him after taking a bunch of beatings with any other character they can play, thinking, “OK i’ll pick akuma, let’s see you beat me now”. Any decent, serious player worth his salt wouldn’t bother picking akuma because they know that winning with him means nothing. Putting a broken character like him in the hands of a skilled player who knows what to do with him and can apply real skills in using him would know that that’s a free win anyway, and what’s the point in that? Real players want to earn their wins.
I’ll beat up on akuma scrubs all day, but anybody with any REAL skill that picks him is someone who has no interest in an even playing field, and they’ll get one match against me before i drop out of the lobby.

The thing with rage-quitters these days is anyone can be doing it. I’ve seen some cases where people who I thought were cool ended up to be quitters. There are very few players whom I am certain don’t quit. Same shit with turbo users - especially when its so easy to turn on with these arcade sticks and pads. I’m generally willing to give anyone the benefit of a doubt unless the evidence is overwhelming.
Main point: its just a game. Let’s enjoy it and make some buddies along the way (big no homo). The only thing I can say to all these assholes, quitters, and turbo users is this:

I thought I would post a reply in my response to the supposed “rage quitting” i have been accused of by ExposedD. First of all i would like to say i don’t quit player matches, whats the point? The only time i have left a game is when it is ridicoulously laggy and is practically unplayable. I have to say to this idiot who is accusing me of rage quits to stop doing so. You were on my friends list and we always had some good games but you have gotten very laggy since we last played. i played a few games with you and you were bouncing all over the screen so i thought sod it… whats the point and left the room. usually if i do have to leave a game i will always send a message why so you don’t get things mixed up. Also my internet automatically shuts off at 1am each night so if i’m in a middle of a game it will dissconnect me at that exact time.
I play cod mw2 so i have privacy settings set to on so unless you are on my friends list i won’t receive your messages. Anyone who plays this game will know it’s the only way to talk to your friends in games as party chat is disabled. If you sent me a message i will have not got it! It also means i cannot send messages to people who are not on my friends list.
You also removed me for some unknown reason from my friends list? If i recall last time we played i beat your dictator with my ryu. That game didn’t lag and was a good game. Unfortunately you immediately left the room afterwards and i have not seen you since. If you would like to prove that i have genuinely rage quitted on you then show me some proof. I have a number of friends online in the hdr community and i am always happy to play anyone regardless of win or lose. Why would my bio say i play for fun, people who have played with me know me well enough that i don’t pull this sad sh#t you accuse me of.
If this hopefully explains the reason i left then i hope we can continue to resume our good games, i’m just a bit mad you have to post stuff like this about me. Thanks to the people who tried to explain and defend me you know who you are. I understand im not the best online and never will be, i enjoy the game and enjoy the matches but when it gets to laggy i’m going to quit the room.

BGs to CSL x Sanctuary for rage quitting on me after I threw his Fei Long a bunch. He sends this after the ranked match. He then sends me a player match invite. I play his Dee Jay and his Ken, beat him both times again and leave because I got bored. He then retaliates with this. Nigga says he posts on SRK one of his BAWWWing voice messages, but I think he’s talking out of his ass. Oh them Xbox Live kids… they should be doing homework instead of talking shit to people who beat them in video games.
Also, BGs to 2 other people who dropped on me today. And 1 last BG to a turtle Guile that I beat once and the next time we were matched up, he just kept jumping at me as if to automatically throw the match. Play the game or don’t play me at all.

I got Rage quit on by some idiot named OBAMA THE OREO or something like that yesterday. Apparently he’s a notorious crybaby? Anyways, sends me a message saying that he bet’s I’m Ugly and Poor (um, ok?) and calls me dishonest and a liar. I never even said a word to the man. When pressed as to what that meant exactly he indicated in rather poor English that my running away from his dictator to better position myself and zone him was dishonest, cheating, and apparently a bannable offense according to the Microsoft TOS and that he had reported me. I then assume he blocked me because he wouldn’t answer any further messages.
I also got some dude named Dek0r not quite rage quitting in player matches. He was doing pretty well with his Hawk it seems and had been dominating the room for a while basically just doing a lot of tick-typhoon setups and then gets really really upset when I beat him with Chun (after taking 2 loses with Guile. Chun’s my main and this guy had been trash talking for a while), tells me I have to stick around so he can beat me and then I have to leave the room, like he owns it or something. I explained that it doesn’t work that way and that he’s an ass and an idiot. He huffs and puffs some more, says some racist things, and then leaves.
And apparently anytime you pick Guile and throw out a wall of Booms 90% of people will call you a cheater… I don’t know how to respond to that.

Luis2099 is just another pathetic retard. I beat his T-Hawk and he sent me trash-talk in Spanish afterwards. I was able to respond in Spanish thanks to having some friends from Puerto Rico.
When you get down to it, HDR might have the highest retards-per-player ratio out of any XBL game. When you consider how many assholes there are relative to the size of the community, its just dumb-founding.
