Was playing ranked match, my Honda vs his Bison, and trapped him in the corner with Oicho Throw. I was about to perfect him in the first round, and he ragequits, sending me messages saying how I’ll never be able to beat him, how I’m the joke of Street Fighter, and how I can’t accept my losses, even though e quit.

Bad games to LEGENDARY609 aka BIGPOPPARICK. Guy joins my lobby and ends up playing a friend of mine. He warns me over mic that it’s laggy. As I started my match, I could see it was glitchy as soon as the round started and I walked back, I confirmed this to my friend. I sent him a message saying that it was laggy and could he find another lobby, which he first ignored and started the game again. Anyway, a few unplayable matches later, I sent him another and this is what I got:
"i didnt hear u say that when u beat me 1 round it lagged for me too but i played thru it. "
Despite it was quite clear that we both said it was laggy. Looks like our friend has selective hearing. The funny thing is, I’ve played this guy under his BIGPOPPARICK gamertag before and I’m 100% certain I’ve been through the whole “you’re too laggy, please don’t join again” before.
Anyway, I can tell that his ping is way over 100, as I can play guys in Boston or NY at a push. This dude is from Illinois, so I’m guessing his ping was 140+ (but it felt more like 180). Let me tell you, it was so laggy that I got him in an SPD, saw his character get pulled towards Gief and then it rolled back to me whiffing the SPD and eating a jab dragon punch. Then he has the gall to accuse me of making excuses.
He then says that it’s not his fault it is laggy (err, actually it is because you joined the lobby with a retarded ping) and that I should stay in arcade mode if I don’t like lag. Let me tell you something man, I play guys all over Europe with little to no problems. There will always be lag, but nothing as severe that moves are getting rolled back by a good 8-10 frames, or that the characters teleport all over the fucking screen. It is possible to play this game without major effects of lag, if idiots like him stick to lobbies with low ping.

He then tried to tell me that it was my connection that was the reason for the lag, but apparently the guy doesn’t know how physics or the internet works. Whatever connection you have, it still takes time for a signal to travel 2500 miles, this time is known as ping. The further away you are, the higher the ping. He also said that his ping to the lobby said 75ms, which is bullshit. The lowest ping I’ve had to the US is around 90ms to NY. He was probably halving his real ping, or he misread someone elses lobby’s ping as mine.
Either way, those were laggy shit games and this guy was irritating as fuck. Accept that you are laggy and move on. Don’t be a dipshit saying that lag exists deal with it, just move on and find someone closer to you.
Bad fucking games indeed. I can deal with turbo users, Akuma users, but laggers are the lowest of the low, especially dumbass ignorant laggers.

Not that I’m complaining because that’s how Honda’s supposed to play the match, but this guy is a huge hypocrite and annoying retard.
