Definitely Pichu. It was a complete waste of a character slot. It’s just a de-evolved, weaker version of Pikachu that attacks itself when it performs electric-based attacks. I have no real problem with clones, but Pichu is a totally different story.
Falco.
He’s a waste of a slot.
If he was far enough away from fox to be considered barely a clone i’d bite.
Wolf is perfect, he’s like they took fox and went a whole nother direction, instead of just tweaking him.
I don’t remember that taunt ever spiking. Has it ever?
Yeah, pretty sure it always has. Or at least since Melee.
Glad to see it return.
Now that is is a motherfucking Year of Luigi picture. Just should have been Mario.
Anyone notice Kirby pops up in a lot of the pics of the days?..Sakurai trying to tell is something or coincidence?
And let the batshit retarded rumors begin!
It ain’t no secret that Sakurai plays favorites with the Kirby universe.
Luigi showing how Gangsta he really is.
He’s trying to tell us that Kirby is getting dropped … [details=Spoiler]off the edge.[/details]
Nah, it’s more likely that seeing as Kirby is his pet character he wants to show us that whenever a decent opportunity arises. He’s proud of his creation. Given the only reason I begrudge him this is how ridiculous Metaknight turned out to be when it was just Sakurai was doing the balancing decisions… I’m hoping his characters will be a little more sane this time around. If that happens, then he can show off Kirby/etc. all he likes and I’ll just kinda nod, tease him about it a little, and roll with it.
Pic of the day ‘A big fire breaks out in Gerudo Valley. Epona, help!’
The most fascinating aspect of that screenshot is that it shows Sakurai’s (and Nintendo’s) willingness to enter the realm of political commentary. As you may know, a few years back there was a big public argument about the so-called ‘Bridge to Nowhere.’ I will spare you the details, but we see here that Sakurai believes Hyrule’s own monarchy may be causing stagnation and leading to a decay of infrastructure. Indeed, his screenshot is a political cartoon at its most pure, showing how even virtuous heroes like Link will find themselves driven off the edge by the sweeping flames of economic collapse forcing them to the brink… and discovering bridges they previously fought so valiantly to protect are no longer in any condition to be used; Link, too, has been pushed onto a ‘Bridge to Nowhere.’ It is only by ousting the decadent and inefficient monarchy, Princess Zelda and all, that justice can truly be served and an otherwise good society be preserved.
…Wait, what? You’re telling me they’re just using that to show off a cool looking stage design? I… guess it could be that, sure.
Red Rick Dias with the mini-stories as always…
Pic of the day: A BOMB!
Not surprising, he IS Italian. BTW, to who changed the title of this thread to its current one…
…YES.
Glad to see that the herpes bomb will be making a reappearance.
Actually, I think that’s a Crash Bomb from Mega Man’s side-B. So I guess Luigi’s gonna be the scapegoat in the pics instead of DK, now?
A BOMB!
(Yes, that’s my token Deus Ex joke. I’ll stop.)
in a nutshell he is considered the dan of the smash series, why do I feel megaman is going to be slow as molasses…I can see his speed on par with ganondorf
Dk,fox, kirby, and luigi are the punching bags
Goodness gracious great balls of fire!
