looks like a giveaway to Goku being in, since thats the rumor for the namco rep, but goku is namco bandai so I wonder if thats the same thing
They’re the same company. I can’t see him being added, though. He’s not strictly a Namco character.
If Goku was in the game, I’d probably buy a WiiU so I could have both versions of the game. A bold claim, but the likelihood of Goku’s inclusion is so minuscule I feel comfortable making it.

Yeah but Namco Bandai have control of the license, hell if they wanted they could throw anyone from Luffy to Aizen to Killua in the game if Nintendo gave them the ok and they wanted to do it.
Goku is possible but one has to wonder if that is the way they would go or one of their more game related properties. Honest, I’d prefer a character from one of their Tales of games then any manga, although Goku or one of the Shonen Jump stars would probably move more units.
Mega Man already convinced me to do that.
The only Namco character I want to see is Lloyd Irving.
I’d like to see Klonoa myself, as I mentioned a while back this would be the perfect time to see that character get more exposure.
But Lloyd Irving is probably the more likely choice between the two. Not that I’m complaining, I like Lloyd too. I just prefer Klonoa. 
I would be OK with Pac-Man, but Lloyd is clearly the superior choice.

Damn man why doesn’t capcom just sell megaman to nintendo. He’s probably more "family"to that company then some of their own 1st party games. I say nintendo should file for full custody with no visitation whatsoever from capcom…shouldn’t even be that hard to prove the poor guy has been abused and neglected.
Nintendo + Capcom has spawned a LOT of good things when they work together…Megaman in Smash is one of many.

I’d like to think most Megaman fans own Nintendo platforms but I haven’t delved into sales of any of the titles to provide any evidence. Megaman’s secondary ‘home’ would obviously be on Sony platforms and then I’d imagine if you asked Microsoft peeps who he was you’d probably end up getting a ‘who?’
Melee is back in the jeopardy zone because they need 4 tvs and 9 gamecubes despite Mr. Wizard telling people that they needed this equipment months ago. If they can’t come up with the equipment than evo won’t run the tourney. This is from a post on facebook by Mew2King.
