araider08’s avatar got me thinking… wouldn’t it be nice to see a character from the Jet Set Radio games show up and tag the shit out stages and enemies alike?
But then I think, they are probably just going to add one more 3rd party character and my heart returns to wanting to see either Professor Layton or Phoenix Wright. Dream and impossible scenario would be to see Monkey D. Luffy or some other character from One Piece
oh god 3rd party characters being in smash that will never happen, rolls eyes. Its not like they ever added Snake, Sonic or Megaman. Dear god the idea of more 3rd party characters is a lame idea, rolls eyes. Its no like bayonetta 2 and the Sonic Lost World are only on nintendo. Its not like konami ever added Snake from metal gear into smash. Ya 3rd party characters are sooooooo, unrealistic
So I have been trying to play brawl a little bit again trying to get prepared for 4. I always have used the wii remote but everyone is saying the controls are better on the GC controller so I tried that but I absolutely hate controlling my character with the analog. Is there a way to switch it to dpad.?
Also what about playing smash with a stick. Anyone ever done that?
If you’re dead set on a d-pad the only option is the Wiimote by itself. I honestly can’t understand why you’d want to do that, but it’s an option. Unless you’re just messing around, playing this game without an analog is madness.
Smash on a Dpad or a stick. I can’t do dpad since I’m used to being precise with my tilts and smashes on analog. I’d also imagine air control being not as precise either. Stick I’d only even bother attempting if it was analog.
I hope so, I started with brawl on the wii dpad and actually liked it but you have access to more buttons with the GC controller. Hmm does the classic controller let you use the dpad. I have a snes pad modded to a classic controller and would use that if I cant get used to the GC controller.
My boy Rock is gonna be one diverse dude with all his weapons. I guess in order to keep to keep the Metal Blades somewhat balanced, you can only fire one at a time? I mean, it’s been confirmed that they be be thrown in eight directions. I’m pleased that lesser appreciated powers like Hard Knuckle and Spark Shock are getting use for Mega. They could have just nut rode MM2’s weapon set (although really, broken Metal Blades are all you need from that game) and called it a day. But Sakurai and company thankfully went beyond that.
Yes you could customize the controls for Brawl. You had to go under options>Controls and then you have to make a name if you hadn’t already or edit one of the names already made and you could have controls set up for each each controller: GC, Wii mote, Wiimote+nunchuk, and Classic controller. That was also where you could set it so that your character didn’t jump when you smashed the analog stick upwards and relegated jumps specifically to just the buttons.
K. Rool hasn’t been in any recent DK games, and DK already has another representative in Diddy, they wouldn’t give him three, seems very unlikely.
Isaac is definitely not relevant or popular enough to replace or take the spot of some other characters.
This series has a trend of not including more than two Japan only characters or characters where a majority of their fan base is Japanese, and if they did keep up the trend of only having two it would definitely be two fire emblem characters like it has been in the past two games.
Starfy? Really? Nope.
You either have to be relevant or popular world wide, the only exceptions for this rule are for Classic old school Nintendo characters(NES/SNES old).
As awesome as Bayo would be as a guest, it would be hard to make her be “her” and still keep a PG rating.
Bayo is a walking sexual innuendo, and she needs to stay that way. Besides are attacks are too damn big and crazy to be toned down, they wouldn’t look as cool.
