After all the wishing and hoping for ridiculous choices like someone from Castlevania and Waluigi in the pre-Brawl hype I seriously only care about what can realistically happen.
Realistically I only want Ridley, it’s about time we got another Metroid representative, especially one so cool. I’d be completely fine with just that.
Another idea I’ve had since after Melee was Sunshine style Bowser jr., who uses his paintbrush to strike, creating goo stuff, and utilizing Shadow Mario in some attacks or as his Super Smash (That or Kamek assist). He could do his own thing pretty well and I like him.
realistically sega can make a new character for the game. Geno wont happen cause they have to ask Squre-Enix, and I already know what they will say, we rather put someone from final fantasy or dragon quest. Im sure konami will have no problem putting characters from their games in smash. Snake being in brawl pretty much shocked people and no one knows who will be put in smash. Waluigi I wouldnt want him, cause what would you do for his movies? Hes only been in like party games. He doesnt have moves like Wario, cause Wario has his own set of games. Id rather see Shadow Link then Waluigi
There is no way they will let SEGA have 2 characters. Because it’s not like most licensing deals companies want their characters in Smash.

I thought I saw multi air dodge in the trailer?
I believe it was stated (or shown) that in the E3 build, there were multiple air dodges like in Brawl. It sounds like they may change this though.
I wonder what other system changes they may introduce, it seems clear that there’s more hitstun, blockstun, and auto-ledge snapping is gone, but this was only an alpha build. I’m curious what else they may do.
If you can make the Wii Fit Trainer and Animal Crossing Villager(Or Fox/Falco/Wolf, or Captain Falcon, or ROB) into fighters then you can damn well turn Waluigi into a fighter.
I’d imagine all of his moves to be awkward and cartoonish(like wario’s, but not the same moves) and involve a lot of reference to the Mario sports, racing, and party games since those are the games he’s known for.
Realistically, i’d also want Ridley as long as it isn’t his other M look.

Well, they scaled Bowser down to fit Smash so I could see them scaling Ridley down as well…
Ridley has been depicted as difference sizes since forever hasn’t he?
Though I doubt they’d do it, they could always shrink him a bit to be as big as Bowser.
