Waluigi isn’t going to be in. Dude is almost exclusively in Mario spin-offs. Anything he’s in, Mario represents better. Nor is he as iconic as Peach or Bowser to be included. Rosalina for Galaxy, Wario for Warioware, Yoshi for Yoshi’s island, DK for DK series. Each has their own successful series to fall back on.

I apologize for not making that clearer.

I don’t give a shit about Waluigi, that’s accurate. I never stated it as a reason (because that’s kind of not a good reason) but it’s true.

However, separating myself from that opinion, let’s look at the facts.

There’s limited slots in the roster, they just added a fifth Mario character.

Even if they decided to surprise the hell out of us and make a motherfuckin’ 6th Mario character it sure as hell isn’t gonna be the guy they made to fill slots in sports games.

So…DKC: TF is out tomorrow so we have a good chance at looking at a character tonight or maybe even Monday. If Diddy or Dixie show up by themselves then that leaked list will have been proven wrong.

I honestly doubt we’ll get a reveal of that nature. 1) Little Mac was just revealed a week ago. Might be too soon for another character, Too many especially since Lucario wasn’t that long ago either. Reveal overload. 2) It was released in Japan a week ago. Might have done that then.

If I had to guess, we’ll get a DKC themed assist trophy. I would gamble on Cranky Kong smacking people with canes while telling the audience what a good Smash character he would be. Or King K Rool dropping cannonballs from the sky

In Smash things are categorized by logo. Yoshi, Wario, DK; none of them count as Mario characters in Smash.

There are 5 Mario characters in SSB4 so far. I really don’t expect a 6th (because that’s too much).

We had Jungle Japes. It wasn’t excellent, but it wasn’t as unplayable as Rumble Falls.
