In other news, TLDR version of Dias’s post: Too much fan furor over a character you like not being included in a game is unhealthy/sad/pathetic/more synonyms and anyone doing it is liable to get punched in the gut. For their own good of course.

Honestly, I hope Sakurai just throws out a different bipedal legendary/popular Pokemon as a playable character with both Mewtwo and Lucario as trophies just to fuck with the fanbases warring over it.

The player cards remind me of Uno cards for some reason. Whoever made that made it really vibrant.

I’d find it more believable if they’d tried to organize by group like they did in both Melee and Brawl.
On Magikarp as playable just to mess with the fans: I’d actually enjoy it. Pichu was too subtle a joke character. With Magikarp they’d be open and honest about it, and I would be glad to see him on the roster!
On the fake roster pic: Sure, that’s obviously fake and a bit drab, with some quality control issues… but it does help you visualize what we know so far. That’s a select screen whose contents make me go “…Yeah, I can probably get my $60 + Tax worth of fun out of this roster.” It’s reassuring, because I know it will only get better from here and I’m already pleased with what I see.

That’s why we don’t see Ness, or Cap. I assume.
I’d say aside from the last two things(Snake and Pac-man) that list seems incredibly believable and likely.
